N'Bushe Wright (/ənˈbuːʃeɪ/ ən-BOO-shay; born September 7, 1970) is an American actress and dancer. She attended and trained as a dancer at the Alvin Ailey Dance Center and the Martha Graham School of Dance. She is known mainly for her role as Dr. Karen Jenson in the 1998 feature film Blade.
After Blade kills the vampire, Karen offers her blood to him, so he can regain his strength to fight Frost. Blade nearly drains Karen of her blood but he stops himself in time. During the fight, Karen is attacked by Mercury, but she manages to kill her with Whistler's spray.
