Magni's position as the Norse god of strength granted him superhuman strength even greater than that of his father Thor (he effortlessly lifted and dropped a tower on Desak).

Thor was worshipped by most Vikings – he was the god of the people. He was comprehensible and could be trusted, in contrast to his father Odin, who could be completely unpredictable. Therefore Thor's role was also to uphold law and order.

Sif. Sif is one of Thor's closest friends and she had a romantic interest on him. She was protective of him and even willing to aid him if it meant treason. Thor even supported her when she became one of the best warriors of Asgard, despite being a woman.
Medlen of The Mary Sue ranked Jane Foster 1st in their "All of Thor's Love Interests in Marvel Comics" list and said, "Jane Foster is the one who Thor can't ever seem to quit. Their relationship started back when Thor was also Dr. Blake. Foster was his nurse, but eventually became more than that.
