As "The Prologue" ends, Cinderella decides to visit her mother's grave. At this point, the show takes on a rapid pace. Cinderella tells her mother her wish and is given a fancy dress and slippers to wear to the ball.
Yet, all Cinderella wants is a change of scenery and an escape from her abusive family. Her scenes in the woods in Act One not only highlight how the expectation to conform to this traditional mindset takes a toll on her, but they also reveal her general indecisiveness.

Sex & Nudity (8) Cinderella's prince seduces and forces the bakers wife to kiss him multiple times. There is some talk about infertility brought about by a curse. When the curse on the Witch is reversed, she's very happy to get her womanly figure back.
When looking for Jack, the Baker's Wife ends up talking to Cinderella's Prince, where he falls in love with her and tries to seduce her. She feels wrong, knowing that she is cheating on the Baker, and he on Cinderella, and he leaves her starstruck with the idea of being loved by a member of the Royal Family.
In this tale, a princess named Zellandine falls in love with a man named Troylus. Her father sends him to perform tasks to prove himself worthy of her, and while he is gone, Zellandine falls into an enchanted sleep. Troylus finds her and rescues her after waking her up with a kiss.
Anastasia reunites Cinderella with the Prince, then she picks up the wand and transforms herself back to her normal appearance. She gives the wand to Cinderella, who forgives her by thanking her, and the two reconcile, putting their animosity firmly behind them.
The main characters introduced in the first film include the protagonist Cinderella, her mouse friends Jaq and Gus, her stepmother and two stepsisters, her Fairy Godmother, and her love interest, Prince Charming. The first sequel and the live action 2015 film introduced new characters into the story.
According to Cinderella's stepsisters and stepmother, they insisted that Cinderella stayed home because they felt that she was not good enough to go to the Prince's party. They did whatever it took to prevent Cinderella from going to the ball.
On the third night, the prince wised up and had the palace staff spread something sticky, like tar, on the steps to slow her down. She managed to get away, but one of her shoes came off in the process. Even a perfectly fitting shoe will come off in those circumstances. The prince then hunted her down with the shoe.
The next night, Cinderella is even more finely dressed than before, and spends the whole ball with the prince, who is so sweet with his words to her that she forgets to leave before midnight. When she sees the time, she rushes away, leaving behind one of her glass slippers.
The Baker's Wife persuades Jack to sell the cow for five of their beans (which leaves them with one remaining bean). After Jack sings a sad farewell to the cow (“I Guess This Is Goodbye”), the Baker is upset they used deceit to acquire the animal. The Baker's Wife insists they did Jack a favor.
In Act Two, The Baker's Wife encounters a prince in the woods and it is suggested they have a sexual encounter. They share a kiss onstage and then leave the stage together.
Parents of younger children should note that the film does contain some dark material, adult themes, and scenes and characters that may disturb younger children. It is also over two hours long. The film is not recommended for children under 10 with parental guidance recommended for the 10-12 age group.
Witch: Originally portrayed as “the villain,” the witche's story is much more complicated. She has an ulterior motive when she reveals she was the one who placed the curse of infertility on the Baker's family.
