The Peverell brothers, Antioch, Cadmus, and Ignotus, are believed by some to be the subjects of the wizarding legend, "The Tale of the Three Brothers." Each possessed one of the Deathly Hallows; Antioch: the Elder Wand, Cadmus: the Resurrection Stone, and Ignotus: the Cloak of Invisibility.
Harry Potter possessed all three Hallows and accepted his own death. First, he inherited the Cloak of Invisibility from his father, James. Then, he inherited the Resurrection Stone from Dumbledore, which was inside a snitch. Finally, he won the Elder Wand from Draco Malfoy during the escape from Malfoy Manor.
It is known that Harry is a descendant of Ignotus Peverell (The brother that received the Invisibility Cloak), and Voldemort is descended from Cadmus Peverell (The brother that received the Resurrection Stone). So it's not too far-fetched to think that Snape could also be a descendant of one of the brothers.

Is Snape a Peverell?
In the tale, the older brother sought power and to conquer death, and was killed by another wizard while he slept. Voldemort also sought to conquer death, thus why he created various horcruxes. Snape is the second brother, Cadmus Peverell, who crafted the Resurrection Stone.
Well, the House of Gaunt are descendants of both the Peverell and Slytherin family, specifically of Cadmus Peverell and Salazar Slytherin. Marvolo Gaunt was the father of Merope Gaunt and Tom Riddle/Lord Voldemort's grandfather, which is why Voldemort acquired the ring/resurrection stone and turned it into a horcrux.
Salazar slytherin is related to Harry Potter, as is Voldemort. Well since Marvolo Gaunt stated that they were decendants of the Peverells and Salazar is a known relaive of the Gaunts and Voldemort the Peverells are therefore descendants of Salazar Slytherin.
The prophecy is mentioned throughout the series, however, it never exclusively mentions that Harry is The Chosen One and suggests Neville was another option. However, one theory explains why, in reality, this wasn't possible.
Descendants. The Slytherin family, like many of the pure-blood families, had some relation to many other families in the wizarding world. The Peverells, Gaunts, Blacks, Malfoys, Potters, Weasleys, Prewetts, and other families are all linked to one another through bloodlines and intermarriage.
Fiendfyre, or cursed fire, is an extremely dangerous and a dark piece of magic that wizards and witches like Hermione and Dumbledore would never have used. It also is pretty destructive: it set fire on the whole Room of Requirement and neither of them were unable to stop it.

Honestly, Hermione knew Dobby was a lost case... nothing could have revived Dobby after the attack or she would have definitely helped Harry with Dobby considering she was the girl who started S.P.E.W(Society for the Elfish welfare) and fought for elf rights. How did Harry's dad get the Cloak of Invisibility?
James inherited the Cloak from his father, Fleamont Potter, who inherited it as a descendant of Iolanthe Peverell — a granddaughter of Ignotus Peverell. The Cloak passed down through generations of the family until it reached James and then Harry.
He believed he was now the Elder Wand's true master, but in the Battle of Hogwarts Harry Potter, his young adversary, revealed to Voldemort that the wand had not belonged to Snape, but to Draco, and, after defeating Draco himself, Harry Potter.
The only reason why it was Harry is that Voldemort thought he was the child the prophecy was talking about. By targeting him and trying to kill him, Voldemort marked him as his equal, while Neville got to live his life without that burden (though that doesn't mean he had an easy life).
Family. Snape's family background is mostly shown in flashbacks during the course of the last three novels. Snape was born to Eileen Prince, a witch, and Tobias Snape, a Muggle, making him a half-blood (hence the name, "Half-Blood Prince").
In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, Neville is actually the person who destroys Voldemort's last Horcrux in Nagini, rendering him mortal, meaning that he and Harry truly delivered the final blows to Voldemort.
As Sirius explains in OoTP, pureblood families are often related to each other by marriage. Voldemort was the descendant of the second brother, Cadmus Peverell, whereas Harry descended from the third brother, Ignotus Peverell. But Dumbledore wasn't related to any of these, as far as we know.
