Recall the story of Jessie. Her owner Emily grew up with her, much as Andy grew up with Woody. She was loved and cherished, but Emily eventually gave her away when she grew older. Jessie ended up in storage for a long time, as we learn when she has a panic attack about having to go back.
Negroni claims that toy owner Andy's mom is also Emily, the original owner of cowgirl Jessie. In "Toy Story 2," sheriff Woody meets Jessie, who in the heartbreaking song "When She Loved Me," tells of being abandoned by Emily, who grew up and shifted her interests from horses and dolls to nail polish and boys.
Jessie has strong opinions about toys being owned, and that stems from when she once belonged to the mysterious Emily, and they initially had a great child-toy relationship. That relationship came to an abrupt end, and in the great Pixar sequel, Jessie is still traumatized by it.

Bo Peep is a fictional character appearing in the Disney–Pixar Toy Story franchise. The character is primarily voiced by Annie Potts. She appears in the first two films as a supporting character, portrayed as a love interest to the protagonist, Woody.
again. Disney has announced a return to the world of Woody and Buzz in Toy Story 5. Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed there would a new Toy Story sequel coming from Pixar during the 2023 year-end earnings call. It will be the sixth feature-length Toy Story movie following 2022's Lightyear and 2019's Toy Story 4.
For a little background, Emily was Jessie's previous owner that we only briefly saw in flashbacks. When she grew up, Emily gave the toy away, which is when Jessie went to storage. But thanks to a few specific clues, it seems highly possible that Jessie magically found her way into the hands of Emily's son years later.
Woody and Jessie share a sibling-like relationship. Since meeting each other in Al's penthouse, the two share a close bond. The two are shown to have pretty heated arguments from time to time, but they deeply care for each other nonetheless.
Although Andy never actually sees Woody or the other toys alive in the Toy Story franchise, the video, featured above, makes a strong case for what would happen. After watching Woody stroll around for a bit, Woody turns and looks Andy in the eye causing him to faint.
Andy, now 17 years old, is preparing to leave for college. He has not played with his toys for years, and only Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Bullseye, Rex, Slinky, Hamm, Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, the Aliens, and three toy soldiers remain.
While neither Karen nor Mike has been seen onscreen since the first Child's Play, Child's Play 2 did reveal that prior to its opening, Karen had been placed in a mental hospital due to her backing up of Andy's story about Chucky being alive. That led to Andy being placed in foster care and meeting Kyle.
