Jonathan Majors consolidated the concept of the MCU's multiverse in Loki season 1 with his appearance as He Who Remains, and he has now brought a new twist with his performance as Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Kang is sucked into the probability field of the energy source, supposedly dying, and the portal back to Earth is closed. It seems like Scott and Hope are trapped inside the Quantum Realm, a heavy price to pay for their victory.

As the camera goes from stage to the audience, we see Loki (Tom Hiddleston) talking to Mobius (Owen Wilson) about how the man on stage is the villain they are looking for. Mobius is not convinced, but Loki says he's sure Victor is a danger to the Multiverse.
And while he might be a little oozy pink blob of a being, if Veb sounds familiar it's because he's actually played by a long-time member of the Ant-Man films, David Dastmalchian.

In an interview with Variety, actor Corey Stoll opened up about his role as M.O.D.O.K. in the recently released “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania”. The scene-stealing character is notable primarily for how he looks: he is essentially one giant head, with tiny arms and legs, floating on a hover-chair.
Ruben Rabasa appears as a coffee shop attendant who mistakes Ant-Man for Spider-Man. A man asking Lang for a picture with his dog is played by Mark Oliver Everett, frontman of the rock band Eels, whose father was quantum physicist Hugh Everett III and the originator of the many-worlds interpretation of quantum theory.
He warns Scott Lang that he's the only one who can "stop what's coming," e.g. the other Kang variants. So might he have been seeking to become the one true Kang, killing all the other versions of himself to stop them from messing with the multiverse and restoring a single timeline where he's in charge?
It turns out, thanks to Season 2, that Loki's concerns were well-founded after all. He Who Remains was a Kang variant who made it his life's work to maintain one timeline, the "Sacred Timeline," which necessitated the pruning of branching timelines.
Yet, once the dust settled at the new TVA (now anchored around Loki's Yggdrasil-shaped multiverse), audiences learned that He Who Remains and Victor Timely had nothing to do with the variant of Kang who fought Ant-Man in the quantum realm.
Kang isn't physically stronger than Thanos, and if the two were to square up in a one-vs-one fight then the Titan would arguably win. However, Kang's knowledge of the multiverse means that would quite literally be several steps ahead of Thanos at all times. As a result, Kang wins this battle.
What did Kang mean when he said something bad is coming?
Kang spends the entire movie trying to get out, and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and his family try to keep Kang trapped. In the final fight, Kang says that he knows how the multiverse ends and if he does not reach the surface world, something terrible will happen.
Disabling his suit could potentially strip him of his technological powers and weaken him. Ant-Man has already shown the ability to sabotage technologically-advanced suits like he did with Falcon and Iron Man in previous movies. This could be a key advantage in defeating Kang.
Kang is his own worst enemy, constantly trying to prevent the future or undo the past. By doing so, he inadvertently creates variants of himself who sometimes hinder his world-conquering goals. Such variants include Immortus, Rama-Tut, Iron Lad, Victor Timely, Baby Kang, and the Council of Kangs.
In Quantumania, Ant-Man and Co. ultimately defeat Kang, but the film's two end-credits scenes reveal that his reign is far from over. In Quantumania, the Council of Kangs looks to be governed by three distinctive versions of Kang: Rama-Tut (the Egyptian Pharaoh), Immortus (the older, bearded version), and the Scarlet Centurion.
Stepping into the Citadel at the End of Time, Loki and Sylvie meet He Who Remains (Jonathan Majors), a version of time-hopping comic villain Kang the Conqueror. In the comics, Kang is a baddy from the 31st century who has faced off against the Avengers many times (and in many incarnations) since his 1960s debut.
Kang and Doctor Doom are incredibly powerful in their own right. While Kang is a master of time with all kinds of futuristic technology at his disposal thanks to his Time Sphere and neuro-kinetic suit, Doom himself is an equal master of both sorcery and science as seen in the comics.
Despite the shocking level of power expressed by Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Loki season 1 implied that He Who Remains was, in fact, stronger than the Conqueror and all his other variants.
However, their adventure gave Kang the insight he needed to determine that Conan was far too dangerous to be left alive, not to mention the impetus to take action against the perceived threat at hand.
Cassie Lang isn't one to just sit on the sidelines, as the Ant-Man 3 trailers show off the now-adult Cassie Lang in her own purple Pym Particle-powered suit, which looks very similar to the suits of Scott and Hope.
Wannabe card magician/FBI agent Jimmy Woo shows up during Quantumania's opening montage. Woo is seen having a meal with Paul Rudd's Scott Lang. He had previously appeared in the prior two Ant-Man movies and even took a trip to Westview for WandaVision.
Kang the Conqueror was exiled to the MCU Quantum Realm by his own variants in the Council of Kangs due to his attempts to eradicate them and become the sole Kang in the multiverse.
