the one we knew well was that each one had a different outcome to the monster battle: If you saw the film in Japan or elsewhere in Asia, Godzilla was the winner; in the American cut, Kong was victorious.
The Big Picture. The first time Godzilla fought King Kong was in 1962's King Kong vs. Godzilla, the third film in each monster's franchise. In the clash between B-list monsters, King Kong appears to emerge as the winner, defeating Godzilla at the end of film.
Mothra stops Godzilla from killing Kong and makes him aware of the Skar King's threat. The trio then returns to Hollow Earth as a team against their common foes, going into battle against the Skar King and his army. Despite their eventual team-up, it remains the case that Godzilla won the rematch between him and Kong.
Perhaps the first question to be asked, however, was regarding King Kong's colossal growth spurt – one that's miraculously allowed him to match Godzilla's 400-ft stature. In Kong: Skull Island, the giant ape was just 104-ft tall, although it was pointed out that he was still growing.
From the Blows Kong landed during this encounter (which were all-out full power blows from Kong) were enough to heavily stun and daze Godzilla (in both Movie and Novel) but not truly enough to truly knock him out...

Why Kong would never beat Godzilla?
The Godzilla x Kong: The News Empire version of Godzilla is 177 metres long and weighs over 90,000 tonnes. Kong stands 103 metres tall and weighs over 50,000 tonnes. Land-living animals of this size simply aren't possible.
Godzilla has only lost to six of his adversaries in the franchise, showcasing his dominant reputation as the King of the Monsters. Biollante, SpaceGodzilla, King Kong, King Ghidorah, Mothra, and Mechagodzilla have all achieved victories over Godzilla at least once in their battles.
Godzilla's victory over Kong and struggle against Ghidorah demonstrates the massive power level difference between the two. Kong would likely lose to Ghidorah, who posed a greater challenge to Godzilla. Similarly, Destoroyah's physical power and weapons would give him an advantage over Kong.
Summary. Godzilla is the clear winner in the battles against Kong, showcasing his superior power and invincibility. Despite losing the fights, Kong still plays a crucial role in the story, defeating Mechagodzilla and earning the title of "King Kong".
Whereas Goku learned the Kaio-Ken from King Kai, Godzilla obtained his pink form from absorbing the DNA of a fellow kaiju named Tiamat. Differing power-up circumstances aside, Krichevsky confirmed that— like Goku's Kaio-Ken — Godzilla's pink form is temporary.
Mothra Might Be Peaceloving, But She's Indubitably Overpowered. The iconic and ancient Mothra is known for being one of the good guys in Godzilla lore. She's referred to in multiple properties as a protector of humanity. As her name suggests, Mothra is a moth, albeit one that is a behemoth in size.
Mothra doesn't simply die in King of the Monsters - she transfers her life force to Godzilla. The film even has the atomic pulse Godzilla sends forth to kill Ghidorah briefly taking the shape of Mothra's wings and her chirping is heard when he attacks.
Godzilla has defeated just about anything that humanity and monsterkind have thrown at him. He stomps on tanks and knocks fighter planes out of the sky with ease, and he's trounced King Kong and Mechagodzilla. If there's a foe that Godzilla can't seem to beat, though, it's inertia.
Strength is subjective in the kaiju world because the stats on these creatures are all over the place and most are not accurate. There is only one that constantly reigns supreme in physical strength. That is of course King Ghidorah the alien dragon from the deep cosmos.
Instead, Godzilla acknowledged Kong as an equal and he returned to the sea. While it's impossible to know for sure what's in the hearts and minds of giant monsters, Kong apparently earned Godzilla's respect so the lizard left him alone.
The strongest Godzilla is High Ball Melenium with high planatary attack potency. He also ripped his way out of a denension. So the argument is switched to what Point he can no longer beat Goku. This Godzilla would lose to Goku during hos fight with the Ginyu force.
Wiz: Both are extremely resistant and very durable, because both have resisted attacks that could make pieces to almost anyone, but just as in force, Godzilla wins in this aspect, because like the Hulk, this resistance and durability this force bonded with his wrath.
Who would win, Kong (Gauntlet) or Skar King (New Empire)? Kong would take it almost every time. Even without the B.E.A.S.T glove, Scar King knew he was outmatched. Admittedly, he pushed Kong to his limits.
After much back and forth and deferring, the two pick who they think will emerge victorious from the fight. “My personal view is that Godzilla is going to win this fight,” Ryan says. “My scientific view is that Kong should have the advantage, but I think that the forces are going to mount in Godzilla's favor.”
Godzilla's strength has been officially confirmed to be greater than Superman's, as shown in Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong #2 preview. This feat of strength proves that Godzilla can easily defeat other Kryptonians, such as Supergirl and General Zod.
Base Thor, whether or not it's comics or MCU is capable of taking down monsters larger than Kong all the time so without question he would probably be able to easily defeat most versions of Kong.
Godzilla never feared any threat that comes his way whether its the JSDF or some other god that comes his way. But there were times where he was puzzled when he sees a creature that he is not used to seeing.
After provoking him with gunfire, Maia and the Apex team's HEAV is crushed by Kong. Kong, Andrews, Jia, and Lind ascend to Hong Kong, where Kong engages Godzilla in a ferocious final battle in which Godzilla emerges victorious, leaving Kong nearly dead.
Though Godzilla is a very close second, it's hard to top the battle with the Vastatosaurus Rex. These evolved Rexes are pretty much the only villains who are close to bringing harm to Kong. They are massive, ferocious, and attack in a pack, which makes them even more of a hassle for Kong.
