Deckard's eyes glow briefly in one scene, which was used in the film to subtly suggest his replicant identity. However, Ford denies this was an intentional effect and he may have caught some of the light intended to fall on Sean Young's eyes.
Because of this memory, K became convinced that he was Rachael and Deckard's child, but was eventually informed by Freysa that he was not and that the child was female. With this revelation, K soon determined that Stelline was the child. K took Deckard to Stelline's lab as she interacted with a snowfall hologram.
The film reveals that Deckard was able to conceive a child with Rachael, and this was possible because she was an experimental prototype (designated Nexus-7), the first and only attempt to design a replicant model capable of procreation.

From a symbolic standpoint, the unicorn most probably describes Deckard's subconscious mind, in which he yearns for unbridled freedom like the majestic creature, which, however, is akin to a myth in the blatantly capitalistic and autocratic world of Blade Runner.
In a 2023 interview, Ford stated that he "always knew" that Deckard was a replicant, but wanted to "push back against it", adding that a replicant (or at least, Deckard) would want to believe that they are human. Ridley Scott stated in several interviews that he considers Deckard to be a replicant.

Did 2049 confirm Deckard is a replicant?
That seems pretty definitive, but even so – the film remains open to interpretation, and Denis Villeneuve's 2017 sequel “Blade Runner 2049” does nothing to confirm or deny Deckard's replicant nature.
When jilted by his father/creator, Roy expresses love by kissing Tyrell right before killing him—the kind of bruised, embittered love a child expresses toward an abusive, negligent parental figure.
What critics failed to understand is that the glowing eyes weren't there for the characters or actors, but rather for the audience. The Replicants eyes didn't actually glow in the world of Blade Runner. It was simply a stylistic choice to help the audience follow the narrative.
Replicants were sometimes referred to as "skinjobs" or "skinners," as they were indistinguishable from non-engineered humans, except for their empathetic abilities. These terms were considered slurs. Throughout the existence of replicants, various movements for and against their freedom were formed.
Ana Stelline (Carla Juri), who is Deckard and Rachael's daughter but has no idea of this and now works as the world's best memory fabricator. We don't know if she planted that memory in only K's brain or in the brains of hundreds of replicants, hoping one of them would follow this message in a bottle. Maybe others did.
The horse, with the inscription "6.10. 21", establishes the connection between the dead female replicant who gave birth and died on 6.10. 21, and K himself, implying that the memories were not in fact "implanted" but are rather genuine after all.
While "2049" failed to find an audience in the public, it was a hit with critics gaining a slew of five-star reviews and an overall Rotten Tomatoes critic score of 88%.
At the lab, Stelline was confined to a room blocked off completely by a transparent screen through which she could speak to clients. This was due to a compromised immune system, a condition that also prevented her from emigrating Off-world with her adoptive parents.
However, he later learns that, even if the memory is real, it was not his own but Dr Ana Stelline's. Through her work, Dr Stelline shared her memory with K, and this allowed him to understand what it was like to walk in her shoes, but most importantly, to believe himself a free, loved replicant.
When Roy realizes that his death is inevitable at the end of Blade Runner, he decides that he needs to be redeemed before passing on. So, rather than letting Rick Deckard fall to his death, Roy Batty grabs his pursuer by his arm, picking him up and saving his life.
Upon meeting his "maker," Roy demanded an extension of his life and a brief discussion followed. Infuriated at Tyrell's inability (or unwillingness) to grant him longer life, Roy crushed Tyrell's skull and then murdered Sebastian before fleeing.
Deckard's age is never revealed in any of the dialogue. In the source novel, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, he was assumed to be middle-aged (late 30's to early 40's) but Philip K.
Nearing the end of his life, Roy creates a stigmata by driving a nail into his hand, and becomes a Christ-like figure by sacrificing himself for Deckard. Upon his death a dove appears to symbolise Roy's soul ascending into the heavens.
Blade Runner famously has multiple endings, including the theatrical cut, a director's cut, and the final cut, the last of which was supervised entirely by Scott and is generally treated as the definitive version of the movie.
Later at K's apartment, he informed Joi of his conclusion that his memory was indeed real. This overjoyed her, as she always believed him to be special, insisting that he now be called "Joe." Unsure, K sought further information and Joi suggested finding the one responsible for creating memories for replicants.
K started the movie believing he was made, with implanted memories. He then thought he was born, and that the memories were real. In fact, as revealed by the end of the movie, he was made and the memories were implants – but they were real, implanted memories from the actual daughter of Deckard and Rachael.
In actuality, he secretly does have feelings and emotions, underneath his stoicism lies a lonely and depressed man who sought meaning to his mundane life which is the motivation behind his search for the replicant daughter.
