In Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Maisie was revealed to be a clone of her mother. After her grandfather was murdered, she was taken in by Owen and Claire, who vowed to keep her safe. Throughout the first act of Jurassic World Dominion, Maisie clashes with Claire over her not being her real mother.
Despite her injury, Claire tells Owen to leave her and protect Maisie from the Indoraptor, kissing him before he departs. Later, she aids Owen and Blue in killing the Indoraptor. Claire and Owen reconcile their relationship and become adoptive parents to Maisie following the death of Benjamin Lockwood.
In addition to being Charlotte's clone, Wu reveals to Maisie that she was also birthed by Charlotte, making them daughter and mother; Maisie was born asexually after Charlotte manipulated her ovum, wanting a child of her own without the need of a partner.
Maisie Lockwood (2007 – present) is the daughter of Charlotte Lockwood, and the granddaughter of Sir Benjamin Lockwood. She is notable for being the first confirmed human clone to be born, and for her involvement with both the 2018 Lockwood Manor incident and 2022 Biosyn Valley incident.

Is Maisie part raptor?
There's a theory that Maisie may be part dinosaur, since she was cloned and due to some of her mannerisms; but Colin Trevorrow's confirmation that human and dinosaur DNA will not be mixed, and has not been in the past; this theory is debunked.
Following Hurricane Clarissa, Charlotte tried to use the cloning technology as a means to undergo trials of creating a child to combat her infertility, utilizing her own DNA for the experiments. Charlotte's video diaries also revealed her pregnant with Maisie and showing her infant daughter on screen.
Charlotte Lockwood (Benjamin Lockwood's deceased daughter) used her own DNA to replicate and asexually give birth to Maisie. Wu reveals that she did this to make sure that Maisie would not inherit the fatal disease that Charlotte had.
Charlotte Lockwood (1974 – 2009) was a British biomedical geneticist, the daughter of Sir Benjamin Lockwood and the mother of Maisie Lockwood. She is noteworthy for being the first scientist ever to perform successful reproductive human cloning, as well as curing the genetic disorder that ultimately took her life.
Through her kindness and selflessness, Maisie accepted being taken in by Owen and Claire as they adopted her as their daughter. As a teenager in Jurassic World: Dominion, she went through an identity crisis as she wanted to discover; who she is and how she came to be.
While the film's end was a hard confirmation that Blue and Owen's relationship was deep, between a human and dinosaur, her nesting spot was the first real tease. Blue could've chosen anywhere to nest with her child, but instead, she decided to nest close to Owen, perhaps because she still felt safest with him.
The most heinous crime however: the fact that this film normalizes dinosaurs being in the world. Because of this, we lose the awe and wonder of seeing dinosaurs alongside the characters, a feeling that has been present in every "Jurassic" film until now.
In Jurassic World Dominion, Claire continually calls Maisie her daughter, despite Maisie angrily stating that Claire isn't her real mother. Many characters refer to Claire and Owen as Maisie's parents. Owen also tells Claire, before he ejects her from the plane, that she is Maisie's mother, and so she has to find her.
Maise Lockwood is the cloned granddaughter of Benjamin Lockwood, one of the co-founders of the original Jurassic Park. Actually, it's a bit more complex than that. She's actually a clone of Benjamin Lockwood's daughter, Charlotte Lockwood. But she was raised as Benjamin Lockwood's granddaughter.
After the incident, Owen becomes a recluse and moves to the mountainside, where he is singlehandedly constructing a cabin. As a result, he and Claire broke up again, as she went on to create the Dinosaur Protection Group and knew Owen was trying to run away from what transpired three years prior.
Hammond disagrees with Charlotte's intentions as he opposes human cloning, finding it to be 'unholy', but Lockwood defends his daughter's actions, resulting a fallout between Hammond and Lockwood.
As explained by Dr. Henry Wu (B.D. Wong) in Dominion, Blue's DNA contains extracts from monitor lizards. This genetic gap-filler enables parthenogenesis – the spontaneous development of embryos from unfertilized eggs.
What happened to the little girl in Jurassic Park: The Lost World?
Cathy feeds the "bird" a piece of her beef before a whole pack emerge. Growing more and more aggressive, her screams can be heard by the parents and yacht crew from further up the beach of her being attacked by the compys, thus getting injured. However, she survived. It is implied that her parents sued InGen.
What happened to Biosyn after Jurassic World Dominion?
After the incident in 2022, their valley was designated a sanctuary for the dinosaurs by a United Nations decree. There they will live free from human interference. Biosyn is likely now defunct due to testimonies from Malcolm, Ramsay Cole, Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler and others, for causing the locust pandemic.
Biosyn and Dr. Henry Wu created hybrid locust, making them stronger and more resistant. The locusts were originally designed to spread genetic modifications to non-Biosyn crops that would allow them to become immune to drought, frosts, and diseases as part of a project named Hexapod Allies.
How many years are there between Jurassic Park 2 and 3?
Sam Neill reprises his role as Alan Grant for the series' third film, with Laura Dern's Ellie Sattler returning as well, albeit for a much smaller role. Another four years have passed between The Lost World and Jurassic Park 3 — both in the real world and in-universe chronology.
Since Maisie was built from her mother's modified DNA, eradicating their genetic disease, and Beta had been asexually reproduced by Blue thanks to her spliced dinosaur and monitor lizard DNA, Dr. Wu realizes that the pair could provide the answers to creating a pathogen for the locust outbreak.
