Since her return to Earth, Seven attempted to join Starfleet but was rejected due to her Borg past. Seven's life after Voyager includes avenging the death of Lt. Icheb, a romantic relationship with Commander Raffi Musiker, and receiving a field commission as Captain on the USS Stargazer.
It is also revealed that after Voyager returned to Earth, Seven tried to formally join Starfleet, but was rejected because of her Borg implants. Admiral Janeway threatened to resign from Starfleet over the matter, but Seven dropped her request and joined the Fenris Rangers instead.
By the time of the series finale, "Endgame", The Doctor had managed to remove the implant, allowing Seven to pursue a relationship with Chakotay. The two were planning their fourth date in the series finale (“Endgame”) and future Admiral Janeway revealed they did get married in what became an alternate timeline. In that future, Seven was killed on a mission in 2381 and Chakotay died in 2394.
However, Picard is able to break Jack out of the Borg Queen's control while the Enterprise destroys the Borg Cube and with it, the Borg Queen and all of the remaining Borg drones.
