The kiss planted on the sleeping princess's lips is the offensive action. There was actually no kiss in the Grimm Brothers' Snow White story. The kiss was spliced into Disney's 1937 Snow White film from the Grimms' other tale, Sleeping Beauty (“Briar Rose”).

Prince Phillip has had a dream of his betrothed Princess Aurora since before their encounter in the forest, although he was unaware of her identity at that time. Aurora readies to flee home, but Phillip asks to see her again, and she tells him to meet her at her cottage.

In movie and in folklore, Snow White and the Prince fall in love and get married (never mind that in the original tale, Snow is only 7 years old). In the movie, the seven dwarfs chase the Evil Queen into the forest, where she tumbles off a cliff—with a push from a convenient lightning strike—and falls to her death.
At the final scene when Snow White kisses the dwarfs, she kisses them all except for Sleepy. When Doc is assaying the (already cut) gemstones from the mine, he puts the jeweler's loupe into his eye backwards.

There has also been the suggestion that the story of Snow White originated from the real-life story of a countess and her alleged lover, Philip II of Spain.
