People living with DID are real human beings, not inferior or “less than.” While Split is a thriller and involves the kidnapping of three teenage girls, the movie does not vilify Kevin or any of his alters, although Dennis and Patricia, the two responsible for the kidnapping, are certainly not seen favorably.

So split is about a man called Kevin who has 25 different personalities . One that's a old woman one that's a strict man named Dennis and one that's a 9 year old boy that likes to listen to Kanye West ,ect. So Dennis kidnaps three teenage girls to feed the (SPOILER WARNING) Beast . the 26'th personality.
Fletcher awakens long enough to write out Kevin's full name on a piece of paper before "The Beast" returns and kills her. "The Beast" then attacks and devours Claire and Marcia. Casey comes and finds Dr. Fletcher's body and her note.

Kevin's dad was a businessman because it was “a safe bet,” Todd Strasser, who wrote the official novelizations of “Home Alone” said, according to the Times.
Later, the Beast doesn't kill Casey because he sees on her self-harm scars that show him she's similar to him. It's a brutal but strangely poignant reflection on how people suffering from mental health issues can view themselves as alone, not seeing their connection to the wider world.
So the Beast does indeed emerge – McAvoy becomes ultra strong, his skin gets super hard, he gains the ability to climb impossible walls (somewhat unconvincingly) and his voice gets even creepier. And he does indeed completely eviscerate and eat two of the girls.
At the end of that movie, the Beast lets Casey, one of the teenagers he has kidnapped, go—all because she has suffered sexual abuse throughout her life. (He only eats innocent girls who have never suffered.) The villain distills the movie's philosophy in one creepy line: “Rejoice! The broken are more evolved.”
