When he removed the Ring, Aragorn took him upstairs, scolded him and explained that the Nazgûl were coming. Frodo needed to be a good deal more cautious, and he had no choice but to trust Aragon. Aragorn joined the Hobbits' company, kept them safe at Bree and lead them to Rivendell.
Aragorn simply wanted to draw out Mordor's armies so that Frodo could make it to Mount Doom. By marching on the Black Gate, Aragorn showed a lot of faith in Frodo, but Aragorn didn't always have such belief in the young Hobbit.
Aragorn knows that the only way to prevent them from being devoured by the ring's allure, is to keep them away from it, and to trust that Frodo and Sam can make it on their own (with the help of Gollum as their guide- which Aragorn doesn't know). The second reason, is because they want to keep Merry and Pippin alive.
He decides to follow the Orcs because he cannot forsake his companions. What is the first unusual sign they have of their prey? What does Aragorn conclude? They saw five dead Orcs laying at the foot of the slope.
When Gandalf traces the Ring to Bilbo Baggins, who then gives it to his nephew, he again calls on Aragorn to aid Frodo and protect him from the Nazgul. Aragorn does so, under his disguise as Strider, saving their lives.

Why does Aragorn age slowly?
The royal blood that flows through the veins of the Dúnedain allows them to live three times as long as normal Men. Aragorn's heritage is the reason for his longevity, and he's not the only Lord of the Rings character to benefit from being one of the Dúnedain (and not, as some believe, part Elf).
He died at the age of 210, after 122 years as king. The graves of the hobbits Merry and Pippin (who had died in Gondor 58 years earlier) were set beside his. He was succeeded on the throne by his son, Eldarion. Arwen, heartbroken by the loss of her husband, died shortly afterwards in Lothlórien.
Aragorn and Legolas are long-time companions and best friends since Legolas' father Thranduil sent him to live among the Rangers of the North. Aragorn and Legolas grew close, up to the point where Aragorn revealed his true identity to Legolas. Throughout his journeys, Aragorn and Legolas are as close as brothers.
That said, Aragorn would have (a) fallen into evil by use of the Ring and (b) not have hoped to keep it from Sauron or effectively use it against Sauron. In Letter 246 Tolkien writes that: “In his [Sauron's] actual presence none but very few of equal stature could have hoped to withhold it from him.
But, in fact, when Frodo offers the Ring to Gandalf, the wizard pulls back sharply, refusing even to touch it. His explanation is candid and revealing. He says that his power makes him too susceptible, and that his great moral goodness could turn to equally great evil under the Ring's influence.
However, a specific scene in The Lord of the Rings has led fans to theorize that Frodo and Legolas didn't talk, not because of time, but because the hobbit didn't know Legolas' name (and was too embarrassed to ask).
He loved him and cared about him as he would for himself, or even more. So Frodo represented Sam's other self. And on the other hand, Sam functioned as Frodo's mirror, because knowing him so well, he was able to precisely guess his mind.
Critics such as Partridge, Esther Saxey and Marion Zimmer Bradley have stated that the relationship of Frodo and Sam is friendly and intimate, but not necessarily homosexual.
Aragorn's healing abilities, moreover, were a sign to the people of Gondor of the identity of their true king; as Ioreth said, "The hands of the King are the hands of a healer, and so shall the rightful king be known." The people hailed him as King that same evening.
Bilbo Baggins is Frodo's cousin. He took Frodo in when he was 12, after his parents drowned in a boating accident on the Brandywine River. Bilbo loved Frodo like the son he never had and, despite being his cousin, referred to him as his nephew.
In 2956, Gandalf met Aragorn, the hidden Heir of Isildur, and soon became friends with him. From that point on Aragorn and Gandalf often worked together towards a common end - the defeat of Sauron.
He did not want to see his daughter Arwen married to Aragorn, a mortal, and did his best to stop her from following her heart. Not only did he treat Aragorn– and the race of men in general– with contempt, but he went as far as lying to Arwen about what he saw of her future.
Éowyn falls in love with Aragorn, but though he respects her, he does not return her feelings, as he is betrothed to the elf Arwen. As Aragorn points out, her duty is with her people; she has to shoulder the responsibility of ruling Rohan in Théoden's stead when the war-host of Rohan go to war.
At the end of Fellowship of the Ring, Frodo and his companions visit her. Frodo even offers her the one ring. Galadriel admits she has long awaited the chance to seize the powerful token. But, she says, if she took it, she would become corrupted herself and rule over Middle-earth as a beautiful but tyrannical queen.
Legolas does not marry or have any children, based on the appendix of The Lord of the Rings. Regardless of who his mother was, Legolas is the last of his line. When he sails into the West at the beginning of the Fourth Age, he leaves no family members behind.
It is later mentioned that Tauriel is a talented warrior and was therefore made leader of the Mirkwood border guards. Legolas, the son of Mirkwood's Elven king Thranduil, is indicated to be attracted to her, but as she is a lowly Silvan Elf, she does not believe herself worthy of him.

In the year 121 of the Fourth Age, after Aragorn's death, Arwen died of a broken heart at Cerin Amroth in Lórien, and was buried there one year after the death of Aragorn, to whom she had been wedded for 122 years. She was 2901 years old.
The Tale of Aragorn and Arwen, an appendix to the main story, relates that Aragorn and Arwen had a son, Eldarion, and at least two unnamed daughters. One year after Aragorn's death, Arwen dies at the age of 2,901.
"He was Aragorn son of Arathorn, the nine and thirtieth heir in the right line from Isildur, and yet more like Elendil than any before him." Aragorn was a descendant of Elros Tar-Minyatur.
