Daisy is unable to confront the reality of her part in Gatsby's passing due to her feelings of guilt and shame; as a result, she is prevented from attending the funeral of Gatsby. In addition, Daisy is still married to Tom, so she may be concerned about what the aftermath of her attendance at Gatsby's funeral will be.
One can even go as far to say that Daisy does not go to Gatsby's funeral because she does not want to associate herself with an individual who is being scorned by such horrifying rumors; again, she is more concerned with her social status and her name in society.
Although Fitzgerald does not place Daisy there at the funeral, there is a lot of evidence that shows she might have wished to be there, and that she felt sorry about Gatsby's death.
The behaviors of the guest show that they truly did not care about how Gatsby was, but how exciting and fun his parties were. They did not go to the funeral because they believed that whatever was going on in their lives was more important, and they did not want to participate in such a "downer" activity.
In The Great Gatsby, Daisy does not call Nick after Gatsby's death due to her desire to avoid being associated with Gatsby, her absence from town, and her fear of making Tom angry.

Her voice may sound like a stereotypical rich person's voice. Nick also suggests that her voice sounds like coins clinking together, sort of high and musical. Ultimately, though, Daisy and money are inextricably linked in Gatsby's mind. She has always been wealthy and he has always aspired to be wealthy.
Gatsby's decision to take the blame for Daisy demonstrates the deep love he still feels for her and illustrates the basic nobility that defines his character. Disregarding her almost capricious lack of concern for him, Gatsby sacrifices himself for Daisy.
