Venom is a villain in Marvel's Spiderman. He also known as his host Eddie Brock. He hates Spiderman because he thinks he is the cause of all the bad luck in his life.
Brock dies attempting to merge with the symbiote after it is removed a second time. Spider-Man throws one of Osborn's grenades at it and he is caught in the explosion.
While Venom grew to be regarded as one of Spider-Man's archenemies, later comic book storylines depict him as an antihero, and he even reluctantly teamed up with Spider-Man when the lives of innocent people were at risk.

Is Venom ever a good guy?
Since his debut however, Venom has evolved into an antiheroic figure, slowly distancing himself from his initial goal to ruin Spider-Man's life to try and do good instead, even putting aside his differences with and helping Spider-Man at times.
Venom came to empathize with Eddie's status as a "loser", eventually deciding to turn on its own kind and save the Earth from being invaded. The symbiote ultimately agreed to work alongside Eddie as a vigilante, to only hurt bad people despite its own confusion of how it can tell the difference of who is good or bad.
Venom's symbiote has explained on many occasions that the Klyntar planet is practically devoid of emotions, yet over time he knows that he forms genuine love for Eddie. Venom bonds more with Eddie and experiences guilt, jealousy, and sadness over his other half.

She-Venom (Anne Weying) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She is the ex-wife of Eddie Brock. She is the first character who goes by the She-Venom identity, and she is also colloquially referred to as the Bride of Venom.
Though Venom at first enjoyed his newfound immunities, he left after being abandoned during a dangerous mission. After receiving a head wound, Eddie suffers amnesia. He is later separated from the symbiote, which is presumed killed by the government Overreach Committee.

The Venom symbiote's animosity toward Spider-Man stems from its initial bond with him. In the comics, Spider-Man rejected the symbiote when he realized it was trying to permanently bond with him, and he removed it. This rejection left the symbiote with a strong sense of betrayal and anger.
Venom requires brains and chocolate to survive. Marvel's comics explain that Venom has a biological need for the two substances. In the comics, brains and chocolate are prime sources for phenethylamine, a compound that positively affects mood and that Venom needs to live.
He is arguably the series' most heinous villain, surpassing the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus and Tombstone, who all have less resources. He does not have a tragic backstory, redeeming qualities, comedic moments or even a Freudian Excuse for his actions and shows no remorse for what he does at all.
