Throughout the first three films he looked like an everyday child's doll, but after his death in Child's Play 3, Chucky had his body stitched up to create his more popular look. The scars would later be fully gone in Cult of Chucky, when he duplicates his soul.
(at around 6 mins) In Child's Play 3 (1991), the entire left side of Chucky's face was removed by a scythe. When Chucky is sewn back together in this movie, though, it's the right side of his face that is stitched back on.

He tries to use Andy to transfer his soul into since Andy was the first person to whom Chucky revealed his secret, and thus the only person Chucky could transfer his soul to, in accordance with the voodoo spell.
The magical incantation — "Ade due Damballa. Give me the power, I beg of you!" — brings about broiling storm clouds of lightning and thunder in the skies above as the practitioner effectively swaps one body for another.
Films. In Curse of Chucky, Nica Pierce is a paraplegic woman with an unspecified heart disease triggered by stress. She lives with her mother Sarah in a large house with a cage elevator she uses to move between the levels. One day a package arrives containing a Good Guy doll.
In order to get Glen's soul into a human body, Chucky's semen is inserted by Tiffany into Jennifer so she can bear a child for Glen to use. As the two awake the next morning, unaware of the events of the night before, Jennifer suddenly experiences morning sickness and realizes that she is pregnant.
Kyle follows Chucky and Andy to the factory, where Chucky knocks Andy unconscious and attempts the ritual to transfer his soul into Andy. However, Chucky is able to finish the chant until suddenly, his nose starts to bleed.
At the end of the film, Andy, his mother Karen, and two police detectives, Mike Norris and Jackie Santos, try to fight off Chucky. After he's lit on fire and loses both an arm and a leg, Karen shoots him repeatedly, and he is even beheaded. It isn't until Norris shoots Chucky in the heart that he finally dies.
Despite inside the body of a doll, Chucky can feel pain and can bleed when injured, and has a large scar with stitches on his face. He used many weapons including guns, but mostly an axe or a knife to kill people who buy or sees him killing someone.

The child identifies as a girl to their mother and a boy to their father, a bit thoughtfully attributed to their self-projections and indiscernible genitalia. Chucky and Tiffany name their child Glen and Glenda, respectively, a nod to Ed Wood's eponymous 1953 trans drama.
That honor belongs to Chucky's greatest nemesis, Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent), whose mom bought him the Good Guy doll Chucky was inhabiting in the 1988 film. It was not a good purchase. Andy would remain haunted (and hunted) by Chucky for years to come, even into adulthood.
Charles Lee Ray was a character known as the Lakeshore Strangler who murdered 22 people before his death in the beginning of Child's Play. He is Chucky's original human form before he transferred his soul into a doll.
