However, as the twist-filled Glass Onion ending explained, Andi and Duke were both murdered by Miles — the former because he didn't want anyone his credibility to come under fire, and the latter because he had learned of Andi's death and wanted to negotiate with Miles.
The group gathers once again, and Benoit reveals it was Miles who killed Duke after Duke connected the dots that Miles killed Andi, and it was Miles who shot Helen. Miles killed Duke with pineapple juice, because Duke is deathly allergic to pineapples.
At that point, Duke knew that Miles was guilty, and in an attempt to blackmail him, he showed him on his phone, trying to get Miles to boost his YouTube channel.
In this case, he wanted the notifications of Andi's death to remain a secret so he wouldn't get blamed. He also wanted the gun as a contingency measure, as he knew Helen was the twin masquerading as Andi on the island to unearth the truth.

The title of a 1968 Beatles track, “Glass Onion” was intended as a joke from Paul McCartney about people who read too much into the band's lyrics. Fans have theorised that a glass onion is a metaphor for something both multi-layered and transparent, somewhat proving the point he was making.
So many people I know, and respect, DID truly enjoy 'Glass Onion'. But for me, this film was so over-the-top that I continually felt as though I were watching a TV sit-com or vaudeville show. That, not a film during which several central characters actually are murdered. And a murderer must be uncovered.
Blanc fakes her death with some of Jeremy Renner's patented hot sauce and hauls the rest of the gang into the Glass Onion to run down the whys and wherefores of Helen-as-Andi's apparent death. We know by now that Andi apparently killed herself by overdose at her home.

The film then jumps back to when Blanc received the invitation. He was visited by Helen, Andi's twin sister, who brought him the smashed-up puzzle box. Helen tells Blanc that Andi is said to have committed suicide days earlier, but she believes that Andi was murdered.
