A prequel novel, Scarface: The Beginning, written by L. A. Banks, was published in 2006. Montana has a large scar on his face, which explains why he is known as Scarface. This is the same type of scar that Al Capone received from a bar fight in 1917 at the Harvard Inn.
Al Capone was nicknamed “Scarface” because of several knife wounds on his face given to him by a hoodlum named Frank Galluccio. Capone made some unkind remarks about Galluccio's sister, and the latter wanted revenge. Later Capone would hire him as his bodyguard.
In Scarface (1983), during Tony's drug deal with Hector, as Tony is being chained up, Hector says, "Ok, cara cicatriz" which in English means "Ok, scar face". This is the only time in the movie that Tony is referred to as Scarface.

At the end of the film Gina herself suggests Tony must indeed want her because he can't stand for another man to be with her. Tony has a genuine look of confusion on his face and even asks what she's talking about. Therefore he likely did not have sexual feelings towards her.
But Silva truly made his film mark as the silent assassin known as "The Skull" in 1983's "Scarface." As Pacino's cocaine-filled drug lord Tony Montana rages at an army of would-be killers filling his body with bullets, "The Skull" wordlessly walks behind Montana and shoots him in the back with a shotgun.
Before the events of the film, Tony grew up in a poor Havana neighborhood of Spanish immigrants, his maternal grandparents having been Isleños, while his father's side of the family were of Italian descent. We do know that co-star Keanu Reeves famously took a pay cut of a few million in order to allow for the production to afford to bring Pacino on board. As a result, we imagine Pacino was most likely paid around $10 million for his role.
Tony's incestuous protectiveness speeds his downfall. He murders Manny as a punishment. Gina is shot by Sosa's men. Montana loses the two most important people in his life, and his inability to control his lusts destroy them all.
Concerned with the film's grisly violence and sympathetic portrayal of mobsters, the release of SCARFACE was delayed, and Hawks was required to make substantial edits, including deleting scenes deemed overly sexual. Screenwriter Howard Hughes was even forced to write an alternate ending that condemned gang violence.
Casting. Michelle Pfeiffer was an almost unknown actress when she appeared in Scarface, and both star Al Pacino and director Brian De Palma initially argued against her casting. Pacino insisted on taking the lead role as Tony Montana, although Robert De Niro had been offered it and had turned it down.

“He was probably more intense back then, or I think it was maybe the nature of the project, and he didn't particularly want me for the part,” Pfeiffer acknowledged.
What's surprising, though, is the discovery that Scarface's Tony Montana isn't based on the life of any modern-day nose candy overlord at all. No, Tony Montana is patterned after notorious 1920s and '30s racketeer, pimp, and bootlegging crime czar Al Capone.
Overview. Tony Stark has a damaged heart from the plane crash that the Mandarin caused, and because of that, he has an implant made by Dr. Ho Yinsen that keeps it beating. His implant is made out of a stabilized form of Kylight, a metal that is found in the abandoned Stark outpost in the Arctic.
The movie ends with Tony's body floating in his pool next to a globe that reads "The World is Yours." It's an ironic statement because Tony never learned any lessons. Had he paid attention and got his ego under control, he would have had his wife, his friend, his sister, and even his mother.

Back at the Babylon Club, Frank puts a hit on Tony. However, Tony not only survives, but he kills the two men trying to kill him. He then returns to Frank's office and kills crooked cop Mel, and Manny kills Frank. Tony abducts Elvira from her bed.
Tony, riddled with guilt, has Gina taken back to his mansion. In revenge for Tony's failure to kill the journalist, who has now exposed Sosa and his partners to the world as drug lords, Sosa sends a Latino mercenary hit squad (the size of a large platoon), to Tony's mansion to kill him that evening.
