The relationship between Eddie and Venom was hailed by both critics and fans. Those that ship based around the comics, believe that the two are already in a committed relationship. Often they site the two raising one of Venom's offspring together.
Anne commented on it was nice, only misinterpreted by Eddie about their kiss, but she clarified that it was about the power as Eddie suggested. Anne would also promise Eddie to not tell Dan about their mutual kiss.
In the comics Venom describes their bond as being like marriage, he tells Eddie he loves him and Eddie calls him “darling” and “my love”. Plus they literally have a child together. Yes.
In a flashback, it is revealed that she got pregnant with Eddie's child after bonding to Venom. After giving birth to their son Dylan, she left him in the care of Carl Brock, with the promise that she would return eventually. She instead committed suicide, after which Carl raised Dylan.
Anne Weying first met Eddie Brock while a law student at Empire State University, and fell in love with him after he falsely claimed to have saved her from a group of thugs. Anne and Eddie eventually married, and while he became a journalist for the Daily Globe she became a successful lawyer.
Dylan Brock is the son of Eddie Brock, Anne Weying, and the Venom symbiote. When Anne bonded to the Venom symbiote, the will of the Symbiote Hive caused her codex to incarnate into a human form, with the intent of having the ensuing human/symbiote hybrid destroy their god Knull.
This Venom called himself a loser who finally found a chance to be more when he bonded with Eddie. On his part, Eddie was a jobless man with a broken heart when he met Venom. The two have agreed that they are both losers who are stuck with each other but this is what ultimately makes them complete.
The identity of the baby's father is not known to the reader for much of the novel, though it is eventually revealed that Essie's brother Caleb repeatedly raped her from age twelve and impregnated her.
Anne Weying is very patient but is also a very focused woman, she was in a relationship with Eddie Brock and she loved him very much, but Anne knew when to break up with him once she realized he hadn't grown up yet and didn't take their relationship seriously.
With the help of his symbiotic partner Venom, he discovered that he was pregnant. Venom took it upon himself to protect Eddie and the child growing within him, becoming more cautious and even more protective. Over time, Eddie's belly started to round and expand, giving away his pregnancy to the world.
"The Nativity" arc in Venom #164 features the alien symbiote becoming "pregnant" and giving birth to the Sleeper symbiote, resulting in Eddie Brock having vivid nightmares and experiencing symptoms similar to an expectant parent.
After receiving a head wound, Eddie suffers amnesia. He is later separated from the symbiote, which is presumed killed by the government Overreach Committee. The symbiote survives and tracks down the amnesiac Brock, turning him into Venom again.
But with Mac Gargan aka the Scorpion wanting to become Venom once again, Eddie needed to protect his better half while in labor. As the Symbiote have birth, Eddie defended it with his life. The result was the strangest "delivery room" drama comic books may have ever seen.
Having bonded with the symbiote, the two became the being known as Venom. During this time, it spawned seven offspring and a clone; its first child later had three of its own, producing the symbiotes known as Carnage, Scream, Lasher, Phage, Agony, and Riot.
After 500 years, and the end of the age of superheroes, all human life has been extinguished and Eddie is finally beyond saving. Realizing it's time to let him go, Venom withdraws itself from Eddie's body, which crumbles to dust in Venom's arms.
The Scream symbiote appears in the Spider-Man series finale "Maximum Venom", voiced by Meg Donnelly. This version is the older sister of the Venom symbiote who was created by Knull to serve as a member of the Symbiote sisters alongside Mania and Scorn.
By eating Carnage, Venom is effectively returning his spawn back to his former "unborn" state within Venom's mass, not taking anything he didn't already have into his cells.
While going through all of the prominent hosts Venom had possessed over the years, this comic gave each a star rating based on their level of compatibility with Venom. While Eddie Brock got five stars which indicated perfect symbiosis, Peter Parker only received a one-star rating.
Back home, Venom has an argument with Eddie about wanting more freedom to eat criminals, and the symbiote decides to leave Eddie's body and go off on its own.
With every symbiote, the ability to spawn a new puts the former in danger, as there is a possibility of the spawn is normally more powerful than the former. Knowing this, if venom were to spawn again, carnage would be rendered useless against the newer spawn, whether it be his or venom's.
As a result, Dylan became a human-symbiote hybrid. As a kind of living codex, Dylan has numerous abilities, including the power to control symbiotes and kickstart a symbiote's evolution by cutting off its connection to the Symbiote Hive, which psychically links the aliens together.
While we never got to see the original female version of Venom, Eddie Brock's ex Anne Weying did at one point bond with the symbiote to become She-Venom.
