The Grease girls, who played memorable best buds and cousins Sandy and Frenchy in the 1978 classic, joined one another on stage at the Flamingo Hotel & Casino during Newton-John's show.
As the school year begins, Sandy's moving plans change and she starts her final school year at Rydell High. Coincidentally, the same school that Danny goes to, but she doesn't know that yet. The first person she meets is Frenchie who introduces her to the Pink Ladies.
Frenchy is one of the main protagonists in Grease, a charter member of the Pink Ladies. Her boyfriend is Doody. She drops out of high school to go to beauty school (which fails), and later goes back to study chemistry, so she can make her own beauty products (Grease 2).

In even more pleasing news, we learn that Frenchy is the little sister of Jane Facciano, the co-founder and original leader of the Pink Ladies. This means Frenchy is certified Pink Lady royalty. It's clear she idolises her older sister, so it's no surprise that she will one day pledge Pink.

Did Sandy become a pink lady?
Is Sandy part of the Pink Ladies? Sandy doesn't become part of the Pink Ladies officially because Rizzo thinks Sandy is “too pure to be pink”. By the end of the movie though she is accepted as a female greaser.
He's handsome, strong, full of himself, and he takes an instant interest in Rose. Frenchie is intensely jealous of Derrick for this reason, though he comforts himself by noting that Derrick's braid isn't as long as his and by watching older Council members reprimand Derrick for not waking up in time to join the hunt.
Jane's younger sister, here known as Fran, grows up to become the character we know as Frenchy. Davila previously had a guest role in the sitcom Carol's Second Act and appeared in two episodes of Schooled.
Audiences eventually find out that she has a very mean mother and Susan also has a big secret. She had an abortion of Buddy Aldridge's baby. This was a traumatic experience, especially in a time period in which women's reproductive health was not prioritized.
They're the ones who pave the way for the future Pink Ladies we know and love: Rizzo, Frenchie, Marty and Jan. But, as it happens, two of those ladies do get an appearance in this show, because one has a direct connection to the original Pink Ladies.

Instead, fans were left to wonder precisely why she just disappears: and it seems the answer is simple... the makers of Grease 2 realised halfway through that they just didn't want her. Perhaps she'd get better treatment if she returns (even briefly) in the upcoming Grease prequel movie.
In Grease, Rizzo is painted as one of the villains, seemingly bullying Sandy when she turns up at Rydell High - partly because of her resentment at Sandy's moral purity and how easily she is accepted by the school's social hierarchy.
In Grease (1978 movie), why does Sonny grab Sandy during the high school dance and cause her and Danny to quit dancing together? Because he is loyal to Danny Zuko, and wants Zuko to win the contest. Sandy cannot move like Cha Cha. So Sonny takes it upon himself to remove Sandy from the dance floor.
Sandy's parents remain in America and enroll Sandy at Rydell where she meets greaser girl clique the Pink Ladies consisting of Frenchy, Marty, Jan and leader Rizzo. Danny and Sandy recount their brief romance to their respective groups, Sandy recalling a romantic summer and Danny implying a more physical experience.
Olivia Newton-John has confirmed they were approached, while also confirming she didn't think much of the final product. Why they didn't appear is down to the change of plans: the cameo intended to bring them back never made it beyond the conception stage.
Who was originally supposed to be Sandy in Grease?
Casting Sandy would prove trickier. Director Randal Kleiser saw rushes from a new film his old college buddy George Lucas was making, titled Star Wars, to see if its female lead, Carrie Fisher, could be a fit. She wasn't. Marie Osmond (left) and Carrie Fisher (right) were both considered for Olivia Newton-John's Sandy.
“Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies” might not spotlight characters from the original 1978 film like Didi Conn's Frenchy or Stockard Channing's Rizzo, but it does set the stage for their impending reign on Rydell High.
While he loyally served the Boys, Frenchie was killed by Billy Butcher in his gambit to launch a genocidal attack on everyone with Compound V in their system. With the Female by his side, Frenchie dies in an explosion so he can't stop Butcher from carrying out his master stroke.
Throughout The Boys, Frenchie constantly calls Kimiko "mon coeur," and here's what it means. Kimiko and Frenchie are two of the series' main characters, with their relationship being the one bright spot in the dark and gruesome world of The Boys.
Miig drops his pack and prepares to touch the fence to test if it's still electrified. Frenchie watches the looks of fear cross over everyone else's face, decides that Miig is too important to lose, and grabs the fence himself.
