The world is divided into four separate nations: the Water Tribes, the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation, and the Air Nomads. At the end of the Hundred Year War, Fire Lord Zuko and Avatar Aang transformed the Fire Nation colonies located in the Earth Kingdom into a fifth independent realm, the United Republic of Nations.
Each of these four nations were inspired by cultures from the real world: the Water Tribe by Indigenous Arctic cultures like the Inuits and Yupiks; the Earth Kingdom by monarchical China; the Fire Nation by Imperial Japan; and the Air Nomads by Tibetan Buddhist monks.

There are a number of factors that make the Earth Kingdom the strongest nation from a militaristic standpoint. One of the big ones is just how much of the map they take up. Not only that, but they are a singular nation, connected on all ends, with reinforcements close by wherever they are needed.
The Water Tribes are tribes at the north and south poles who are loosely based on the Inuit people. The Earth Kingdom is a large and diverse nation reminiscent of ancient China that is highly decentralized. The Fire nation is based on Imperial Japan, and they have been at war with the other nations for a century.
The ethnicities associated with the four main characters are: Aang: Asian - East Asian or South Asian. Katara: Native American - Indigenous North American. Sokka: Native American - Indigenous North American.
But water bending is the most overpowered element, and here's why. Not only do you have healing, it is perfect for offense, perfect for defense. The soap element of bloodbending is just broken. A character like a man could single handedly, and the Avatar cycle, violate everybody.
And although Avatar was an American production, its creators forged a distinctly Asian world, with influences from monastic Tibet, Thai kingdoms, and Japanese villages, as well as Arctic indigenous communities. This unique approach was not lost on the TV writer Albert Kim when he watched the series with his daughter.
The theocratic Air Nomads were home to a monastic order of men and women who practiced airbending. Unlike the other nations, the people of the Air Nomads were, without any seen exception, all benders due to the high level of spirituality of their people.
Lifespan. Although lifespan data is incomplete, it is estimated Na'vi live 30% longer than the average human. Once born, Na'vi children mature more rapidly than humans.
The Na'vi are monogamous creatures who mate (Na'vi name: muntxa si meaning "mate with, marry") for life. The mechanics of their reproduction are similar to that of humans and other Terran mammals. However, their unique physiology creates an experience fundamentally different from that of humans.
At the foundation of the series, the four elements themselves are a key component of the Buddhist religion. Fire, earth, water, and air are considered to be the four of five great elements or “Mahābhūta” that exist physically but also represent basic human functions.
The weakest nation is without a doubt. the Air nation. Second will probably be the water nation, but yeah, the weakest nation is definitely the air nation.
While the leading team including Aang, Katara, Sokka, and Aang's flying bison Appa, is interesting on its own, there are other characters as well who are more amusing than the rest. One of these is Avatar Kyoshi, whom fans call the most violent airbender.
Pandora's air is unbreathable due to high levels of carbon dioxide and trace amounts of hydrogen sulfide, posing a threat to humans. Humans use exopacks and avatar bodies to survive and explore Pandora's toxic atmosphere, but these solutions have limitations and challenges.
By the year 2170, humanity has reached a population of over 20 billion and faces extinction due to overpopulation and dwindling resources on Earth, resulting in not only resource wars on Earth, but also on Pandora with the Na'vi.
Because it's set so far in the future, humans have improved their ability to space travel, which is fortunate, because Pandora is a reported 4.37 light years away, as the film depicts it...
