However, it was revealed that the claws were originally bone in 1993's X-Men #25 (Fabian Nicieza, Andy Kubert, Matt Ryan, Joe Rosas, and Bill Oakley) when the Adamantium was ripped from Logan's body during a fight with Magneto.
