Orcs and humans can interbreed, and in this union create half-orcs. Humans and orcs have been enemies for decades and half-orcs represent something both races prefer not to think about.
That is, two populations are different species if they cannot interbreed, producing fertile offspring. Clearly, elves and humans may successfully interbreed, producing fertile half-elves in at least three documented unions (Idril and Tuor; Luthien and Beren; Arwen1 and Aragorn) (Tolkien 1955, Appendix A).
In the War of the Ring, the Uruk-hai made up a large part of Saruman's army, together with the Dunlendings, man-enemies of Rohan. The Uruk-hai might have been the result of crossbreeding Orcs and Men. There were other creatures in Saruman's armies, and under his command in the Shire, that appear to have been hybrids.
Half-orcs, also called Orc-men, were a crossbred-race of Orcs and Men first conceived by Morgoth and Sauron, and used by the latter's agent, Saruman, during the War of the Ring. Mordor Orcs refer to the Orcs that Sauron bred for his own army. The first Dark Lord Melkor took hostage some Elves from Cuiviénen. He tortured them, beat them, and broke their bodies into the first deformed and twisted beings known as Orcs. Tolkien confirmed that female Orcs did exist.
In the movies Uruk-hai are described as a crossbreed between "Orcs and Goblin-men". This is a reference to the creatures mentioned by Gamling in the novel that blend the traits of Orcs and Men. These Uruks are sent after the Fellowship, and their initial captain is Lurtz, a movie-only character.
Tolkien never stated that they are grown, and that Orcs are descended from the first elves that Morgoth approached before the other Valar had found them. He tortured and ruined them. They're essentially bastardized elves, since Morgoth could not create life on his own. That's supposed to be the realm of Iluvatar alone.
WEAKEST: Hobbits are one of the weakest races on middle earth. Most can be defeated by simply ruining their lunch. Hobbits are charming and valuable people but not a very strong race.
Half-dwarves (also known as halfbloods) were hybrid humanoids born through the union of a dwarf and another humanoid race. Half-dwarves of dwarf-elf hybridization were sometimes more specifically called dwelves ( sing : dwelf).
They breed slowly, for no more than a third of them are female, and not all marry. Tolkien names only one female, Dís, Thorin's sister. They are still considered children in their 20s, as Thorin was at age 24; and as "striplings" in their 30s.
No female Orc character is ever depicted in the Lord of the Rings, and no information about orcs' society and upbringing (apart from it being violent and cruel)is given, but there are indeed female orcs and for what we know they might be hardly distinguishable from males (like it happens for dwarves) and even be apt to ...
Tolkien confirms that female orcs existed. In a letter to Mrs. Munby, he writes that “there must have been orc-women. But in stories that seldom if ever see the Orcs except as soldiers of armies in the service of the evil lords we naturally would not learn much about their lives.
Unsurprisingly dwarves and elves have interbred for centuries though it is not common they have been close allies for too many centuries for it to be otherwise. As elves held the Armlet of Strength dwelfs can reproduce. When dwelfs have children with elves however they seem to revert to the elven bloodline.
Around TA 2990, he started making his own Orcs and eventually crossbreeding them with Men. After Saruman's nominal fealty to Sauron in TA 3000, his Uruks joined Orcs of the Misty Mountains in attacks upon eastern Rohan.
One theory suggests that the Nazgul's fear of water could be attributed to Ulmo, the Vala of water, who resided in every body of water in Middle-earth and may have punished any evil creatures who entered his domain.
In the first film of Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, it is at the Fords of this river that Arwen, bearing a wounded Frodo on her horse, confronts the Nine Ringwraiths and eventually summons the flood that consumes them. She does so by chanting to the river in the Quenya tongue.
It is also rumoured that some of the Elves were being captured by a "Rider" if they strayed too far, and it was believed by the Eldar that these unfortunate Elves were brought to Utumno, where they were cruelly tortured and twisted into Orcs.
Returning to the idea that Morgoth could not create new creatures with independent wills, it is probable that Orcs had a "mixed origin", using corrupted Elves and Men. Morgoth would have among them corrupted minor spirits, which took terrible and similar bodily forms in order to dominate.
Crossbreeding Orcs and Men: It is speculated that Saruman crossbred Orcs and Men to create the Uruk-hai [1]. This hybridization may have resulted in a stronger and more resilient breed of Orcs.
Orcs have fast gestation periods, lasting only 5 - 6 months from conception to birth, and it's rare for them to have only one child, where it is common for them to have Sextuplets, or Octuplets at once.
The state of Orcs' lives is unknown. Men, Dwarves, Hobbits, and most other races cannot live forever and thus are subject to aging and natural death; however various members of those races have endured longer extended lifespans beyond usual constraints through multiple means.
