If you have a Giganotosaurus (with or without a saddle) and a Spyglass, you can order your Giganotosaurus to attack the Alpha T-Rex. Several Gigas can slay the alpha in seconds.
The only thing to Kill a Giga Ia a Titanosaur easy ... AKA Base Destroying Herbivore. But they live only 4 hours once you tame them unless you can add Raid Dino Feed True to your Ini file. Tame a bunch of Therizino, boost melee and health. Then go to town on it.
T. rex surely would have been able to eat people. There are fossil bite marks, matching the teeth of T. rex, on the bones of Triceratops and duck-billed dinosaurs such as Edmontosaurus, which were both over 50 times heavier than an average person.
The longer the theropod wastes time trying to circle around the Triceratops and avoid its deadly horns to place a killing bite, the higher the chances of T. rex losing the fight.
Concrete answers are hard to come by, because of the differences of opinion in even expert communities, but such a comprehensive victory is basically impossible. Yes, the Spinosaurus was markedly larger than the T-Rex, but it also lacked the muscle and bite power to do any serious damage.
Giganotosaurus was faster and more agile but T. Rex was a heavyweight and was much stronger. T. Rex had a bite-force strong enough to crush a car while Giganotosaurus's mouth wasn't built for crushing but instead for slicing.
Tyrannosaurus can think and move slightly quicker, and deliver more precise blows and be less likely to miss. It's kind of a 60–40 thing, since each dinosaurs' advantages are slight and both can kill with a single bite, but the superior senses, speed, and intelligence of Tyrannosaurus give them an edge.
DO NOT use a tamed Giga to kill a wild Giga. Tamed Gigas gain a massive nerf to health and attack and lack the ability to use the gnashed debuff like the wild Gigas can. If high lvl, imprinted and with a high quality saddle, you might be able to take on a low lvl Wild however.
Get the giga to aggro on you and lead it to the trap. Take your final dino gateway and close the trap. Now, Shoot it with arrows or tranq darts. When its' knocked out, Feed it the recommended sooting balm and kibble, or use meat if not possible.
Alpha Carno's and Rexes can't stand up to a tamed Rex with even 10k HP and 1k Melee Damage. Cheese it to death with a flier. Divebomb it with ptera barrel rolls, hit and run attacks with argentavis or park above them and peck them to death with a quetzal. If you do it right you shouldn't even get hit.
Weakness. If a player is prepared, they can usually use a bunch of powerful mounts (e.g. Rex, Thylacoleo, Allosaurus, Therizinosaurus), other tribe members, or guns to overpower the Alpha Raptor.
When a giga (tamed or not tamed) takes too much damage at once or gets to low health it's eyes will glow. There's nothing you can really do in this situation except just hide and pray. When it rages it will turn on everything, even you if it's tamed. It's DPS goes up to a dangerous level.
Since the I-Rex is slightly larger, we can estimate that she weighs about 9 tons. That's almost 9 times the Indoraptor's size. Boomstick : And impressively intelligent as the Indoraptor may have been, the Indominus was arguably even smarter.
Wiz: Though Spinosaurus could do some serious damage and gave Indominus some nasty scars, it was nothing compared to how brutal and merciless the Indominus was. Though made weaker because of her blindness, she was still powerful and smart enough to perform the actions required of her to win.
