Experts Opinion. Cthulhu may be a God, but Godzilla's better attacks, feats and fighting won him the battle. Cthulhu may be bigger but Godzilla has taken on monsters bigger than him before in the past like King Ghidorah.
Godzilla has only lost to six of his adversaries in the franchise, showcasing his dominant reputation as the King of the Monsters. Biollante, SpaceGodzilla, King Kong, King Ghidorah, Mothra, and Mechagodzilla have all achieved victories over Godzilla at least once in their battles.
The most famous way someone defeated the Kraken (in Clash of the Titans) was by forcing it to look at Medusa's head, thus turning it to stone. Unfortunately, Godzilla's hands are far too large to hold Medusa's head, so it would come down to a hand-to-hand fight, in which the Kraken would likely win.
However, it doesn't even matter, because every incarnation of Godzilla wins this fight. Some are close, some stomp this easily. And unfortunately for Clovey, this one...was one of the biggest stomps of them all. Angel: Yeah, The only thing Clover had going for him was his tenacity.
While not as powerful as many other Great Old Ones and being dwarfed in scale by the Outer Gods that he serves, Cthulhu is still a very powerful entity. Being near godlike to humans, Cthulhu is immortal and has great strength and can endure great amounts of damage and can only be killed by a near-omnipotent power.
Cthulhu has many roles. He is a Great Old One. He is the great-grandson of the greatest evil in all of the Universe, though he himself is not evil. Cthulhu transcends morality.
The Old Ones are neither good nor evil, meaning that they do not hate humans, they just do not care about them. They think of humans as if they could be ants. Also, their appearance is so unlike anything of this world, that it is said that any human who so much as gazes upon one of them will go insane.
Boom: Godzilla had the tools to outlast Kurama and the right guns to take him down. Wiz: That's not to say Kurama couldn't hurt Godzilla- he simply had no way to take down his formidable array of abilities before Godzilla could do the same.
Mechagodzilla, the mechanized kaiju beat Godzilla outright in Godzilla vs. Kong. His arsenal of missiles and lasers decimated Godzilla, who was almost sluggish in his attempts to fight off his attacker.
No matter how strong or good at using tools you are, you're in danger of being fried or tail-slapped to death even when at reasonable distance. It just has to be Godzilla. Sorry, Kong.
Kratos is much much stronger than godzilla in terms of physical power. He just doesnt unleash it very often. Kratos and godzilla both have pretty insane durability. Also if you keep up with the GOW games, athena literally curses Kratos to never be able to be killed and suffer eternal life.

Kong, it was demonstrated early on that Godzilla had him beat in a contest of raw power. His atomic breath put Kong at an even greater disadvantage. Acquiring the axe helped even the odds a bit and gave him a fighting chance against Godzilla, but while it certainly helped, it ultimately wasn't enough.
Wiz: Both are extremely resistant and very durable, because both have resisted attacks that could make pieces to almost anyone, but just as in force, Godzilla wins in this aspect, because like the Hulk, this resistance and durability this force bonded with his wrath.
The strongest Godzilla is High Ball Melenium with high planatary attack potency. He also ripped his way out of a denension. So the argument is switched to what Point he can no longer beat Goku. This Godzilla would lose to Goku during hos fight with the Ginyu force.
Godzilla was barely able to hold up against Mechagodzilla's relentless blows and his lethal arsenal of high-tech weapons. Godzilla – the same Titan who previously dethroned Ghidorah and beat Kong in not one but two punishing bouts – barely stood a chance against his robotic counterpart in Godzilla vs.
Superman stands back up, brushes himself off and fires a blast of his heat vision at Godzilla. This barely affects Gojira and he fires his Atomic Breath at Superman. Superman fires his Heat vision. The two beams lock for a few seconds but Godzilla's breath overpowers Superman and sends him into a building.
Shin Godzilla is definitely one of the most powerful. But currently, it can't even hold a candle to THE most powerful Godzilla incarnation: Godzilla Earth. Unlike Godzilla Earth, Shin Godzilla has problems with overheating it's own body, hence it's amphibious/dormant life.
According to H. P. Lovecraft's story "The Call of Cthulhu", Cthulhu rests in a tomb in the city of R'lyeh, which sank beneath the Pacific Ocean aeons ago. Cthulhu is dead but not truly dead, as he and his fellow inhabitants of R'lyeh sleep the aeons away.
Chtulhu is the priest of the Outer Gods. Thus one might presume that His goal is to worship them, spread the “faith” and possibly sacrifice beings to the Outer Gods. Now, it gets complicated, because while Cthulhu was likely the first “representative” of the Outer Gods on Earth, since then more arrived.
The Kraken can rip ships apart, but Cthulhu is implied to have destroyed stars, which is pretty powerful. Unless the Kraken's fight with Perseus proved that it had incredible strength, Cthulhu wins this category hands down.
