The Legends-era Boba Fett was raised as a Mandalorian by Jango, becoming a Journeyman Protector as a young man and leading all Mandalore clans as Mand'alor in his older age after retiring from his bounty hunter profession.
"Boba Fett is a clone, according to Attack of the Clones, and by asking George Lucas, he would say Boba Fett is not Mandalorian, not born on Mandalore," said director Dave Filoni to Entertainment Weekly. "He's more of a person indoctrinated into it, into the way of life, and gets a hold of the armor."
In S2E8, Boba Fett says aloud he is not Mandalorian. In S2E6 of The Mandalorian, it is explained that the Fetts are considered foundlings, with armor gifted by Mandalorians, so he's Mandalorian in the same way that Mando is a Mandalorian.
Fett embraces his new identity as a Mandalorian warrior. Now a Mandalorian, Jango Fett would continue to fight alongside Mereel and his forces into his teenage years and until the Battle of Korda Six. His first time as a squad commander, the mission promised to be little more than a basic extraction operation.
By 127 ABY, Chernan Ordo had become Mand'alor. Acting on behalf of the Galactic Alliance at the start of the Sith–Imperial War, Ordo led the Mandalorians against the Imperial forces of Emperor Roan Fel during the battle at Botajef.
Din Grogu (/ˈɡroʊɡu/), colloquially referred to as Baby Yoda, is a character from the Star Wars Disney+ original television series The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. He is a toddler member of the same species as the Star Wars characters Yoda and Yaddle, with whom he shares a strong ability in the Force.
Notably, the Dagoyan Masters of Bardotta regarded the Jedi as thieves and kidnappers because of that practice. Some Mandalorians, most notably members of Death Watch, held a grudge against the Jedi for their perceived crimes against Mandalore during the Mandalorian-Jedi War.

Jango hated the Jedi for what they took from him. Perhaps he even hated him for having a home to return to after helping the New Mandalorians take his. Whatever the reason, he hated the Jedi enough to become essential to Palpatine's elaborate plans of genocide.
Why is Boba Fett allowed to wear Mandalorian armor?
Boba Fett's armor was inherited from his clone template—or "father"—Jango Fett, who received it from the Mandalorians after he became a foundling. Fett originally bore his armor as a Mandalorian warrior during the Mandalorian Civil Wars, the conflict during which he was given the armor in the first place.
Additionally, Mando's tools are more updated especially with the Whistling Birds that are invaluable when getting out of a sticky situation. Moreover, Mando's Amban Rifle is probably his most powerful anti-personnel weapon while Boba's outdated jetpack rocket pales in comparison.
Now an orphan, Boba Fett grew up in the galaxy's criminal underworld. As a teen, he joined the crew of Aurra Sing, a ruthless bounty hunter who tried to teach Boba her ways. The boy thirsted for revenge against Mace Windu for killing his father, and bombed the Jedi's starship in a failed assassination attempt.
Tarre Vizsla was a Force-sensitive human male who, was inducted into the Jedi Order around 1050 BBY, becoming the first Mandalorian to do so. Tarre eventually became a famous Jedi Knight. Vizsla created the Darksaber during his time as a Jedi.
Despite the animosity between the Mandalorians and the Jedi, Tarre Vizsla became the first Mandalorian Jedi. As a Jedi, Vizsla built the Darksaber and used it to unite his people as their Mand'alor.
Though Mandalorians were usually distinctly human, one did not need to be human to become one. Instead, what one needed to do was follow the Mandalorian Creed. Thus, some individuals, non-humans included, could be adopted into the Mandalorian creed as foundlings, children raised to become Mandalorian warriors.
Given the rarity of his species in the galaxy, along with the fact that the only other two known members of Grogu's species were both living in the Temple when he was born, it seems likely that Grogu is the child of Yoda and Yaddle and was born to help preserve their rare species.
Legend had it that Yoda—a Jedi who became Grand Master—was trained by N'Kata Del Gormo. A Force-sensitive Hysalrian, N'Kata Del Gormo was trained in the ways of the Force and achieved the rank of Master within the Jedi Order.
Grogu appears to be the youngest known member of Yoda's species. He is only 50 years old, and he is still developmentally an infant. For the whole first season of The Mandalorian™, they referred to him only as the Child. It seems that the species is, for whatever reason, quite slow to age.
In-universe, Fett's long-term injures from his time in the sarlacc may partially explain his newfound attitude in both The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.
Boba Fett was definitely dead. We all saw it: a partially blinded Han Solo unknowingly whacked him with a stick in Return of the Jedi, his jetpack malfunctioned, and then he fell into the mouth of a massive sand monster. You could tell by the way it swallowed and belched.
Although he would retain his Mandalorian armor, Prime Minister Almec of the New Mandalorians disavowed any connection to Fett, claiming that he was simply a bounty hunter who had somehow stolen an artifact from Mandalore's troubled past.
Mando love is pretty open, and marriage between clans can be used to form strong alliegances. Your clan doesn't like it, you can just leave or start another war (the perfect honeymoon, right?)
The war left Mandalore's surface scorched and desolate. The last great struggle between the Jedi and the Mandalorian warlords resulted in a large battle on Mandalore. This caused a cataclysm that scorched much of the planet's surface into lifeless white desert and ending the conflict, the Jedi emerging victorious.
