However, despite the Raven seemingly killing the Doctor's companion, the Time Lords brought her back to life which lead to Clara travelling off in space and time with the aforementioned Ashildr in their very own TARDIS!
After realising there was no way to make the Doctor remember her, Clara bade the Doctor farewell, entering the console room of her TARDIS through a rear door in the diner where Me was waiting. The TARDIS dematerialised, leaving behind the Doctor and his own TARDIS.
Clara is the future child of the Doctor and River who's had her memory erased. The two Time Lords must be up to something on their nights away from River's prison cell.
The woman in the shop who gave Clara the Doctor's number is brought up in "Deep Breath". The Twelfth Doctor remarks it seems as if someone is trying to bring the Doctor and Clara together. The episode "Death in Heaven" reveals it was the Master (as Missy) who gave the number to Clara.

Why doesn t the TARDIS like Clara?
Perhaps there is just something about Clara that rubs the TARDIS the wrong way. It could also be simply that the TARDIS does not like anomalies. Clara, by entering the Doctor's time stream, splintered off into millions of other incarnations. She is, quite simply, everywhere that the Doctor has been.
Danny Pink worked as a Maths teacher at Coal Hill School where he met Clara Oswald and the pair became romantically involved. Previously, he had been a Sergeant in the army, serving both in the UK and Afghanistan, until he accidentally shot and killed a young boy while on a mission.
Although there were parallels between Oswin and Clara Oswin, it was their similar deaths that sparked the Eleventh Doctor to begin his investigation into her identities - coining the "Impossible Girl" term after realizing that it shouldn't have been possible for him to run into the same woman when she had died twice.
However, very few are lucky enough to know what The Doctor's true name is. For most of Silence In The Library/Forest Of The Dead, The Tenth Doctor is wary and distrustful of River Song and how much she knows of his future… until she whispers his true name in his ear.
Both of them had ties to each other since their childhoods — thanks to time travel — and their relationship blossomed as she was the companion of his eleventh and twelfth incarnations. Clara was forced to face the Raven, killed by the touch of a Quantum Shade. However, death would not be the end for the impossible girl, and using Time Lord technology, the Doctor was able to extract Clara a second before her death, between one heartbeat and the next.
Since they are so alike, each pushes the other to potentially catastrophic actions. He later realizes from Ashildr that traveling together will only cause more harm than good, and prepares to wipe Clara's memories of him with a device. Clara tampers with the device so that it wipes the Doctor's memories of her instead.
The Doctor confesses that the ossified creatures which killed Bram and chased Clara are themselves from the future and tries to prevent that future from happening. However, Gregor and Tricky contact themselves and become a conjoined ossified creature seen earlier. The Doctor and Clara flee towards the engine.
During the mission, the Doctor engineers a reconciliation between the two. The two discuss their feelings for each other. It is revealed Amy left Rory because she has been infertile since "A Good Man Goes to War", and she knew he wanted children.
Companions like Katarina, Adric, and Kamelion have sacrificed themselves for the Doctor, and their deaths have had a lasting impact on him. Clara, Bill, Astrid, Adelaide, and River have all faced tragic ends but have returned or found ways to continue their adventures in different forms.
Although many TARDISes exist and are sometimes seen on-screen, the television show mainly features a single TARDIS used by the show's protagonist, a Time Lord who goes by the name of the Doctor.
Throughout Doctor Who, there have been multiple reasons why the Doctor's name was never revealed. The sixth Doctor claimed it was simply because a human could not pronounce it, but the eleventh Doctor revealed his name was a signal that would bring the Time-Lords to this universe and restart the Time War.
In this episode, River fails to recognize the Doctor because she has no idea that he managed to gain another regeneration cycle, and no matter what he says or how many blatant hints he keeps dropping to her about his true identity, she keeps missing the forest for the trees.
He uses time travel to ensure a perfect date, gives her the sonic screwdriver that she had in "Silence in the Library", and comforts her by revealing that the nights on Darillium last "24 years", giving River a happy life spent with the Doctor before her impending death in the Library.
Clara died on trap street in face the raven but she was extracted at the point of her death at Gallifrey. It was a fixed point and so she had to return to that point, the universe would have had a lot of problems if she didn't.
tl;dr: Missy did indeed intend for the Doctor and Clara to become the Hybrid of legend to both get revenge on Gallifrey for their treatment of her and drive the Doctor mad.
She is effectively immortal, as we see her die to the Quantum Shade and it is a fixed point in time. So the only way she can die is if she goes back to Gallifrey and they put her back in her timestream. However, that doesn't explain how she can just go waltzing about all willy nilly with no consequences.
Throughout Doctor Who season 8, Clara had been forced to choose between the two important men in her life, constantly trying to balance her two identities and experience the best of both worlds. Danny's death forced her to recognize that this was no longer possible - and she chose Danny over the Doctor.
The Eleventh Doctor has exceptional luck when it comes to meeting women who kiss him out of nowhere. It happened to him with Clara, with River... and also with his mother-in-law, Amy. At least it was before she actually became his mother-in-law.
While they may not have been in love with each other, there's no denying that the Doctor and Amy shared a huge amount of affection for each other. The Doctor loved Rory too, but Amy was the first person who he travelled with for a while, and that meant something.
