Actually, Han Solo is about 10 years older than Luke & Leia. Luke & Leia are about the same age as Ezra Bridger while Han is closer in age to Ahsoka. In Rebels, Obi Wan Kenobi kills Maul on Tatooine while protecting/observing a teenage Luke Skywalker.
This question is answered in the movies. In the scene involving Jabba and Leia, you can see that he dressed her in a skimpy outfit and chained her to his lounging pad. Later on, he was strangled by her, using the same chain.
