Robert Picardo and Jeri Ryan did at least some of their own singing, including the duet "You Are My Sunshine." The sperm and ovum showed during the Doctor's lecture is a screen shot taken from the film Look Who's Talking (1989).

By the time of the series finale, "Endgame", The Doctor had managed to remove the implant, allowing Seven to pursue a relationship with Chakotay. However, a Hirogen can be seen during mind meld scenes in "Infinite Regress", indicating that Seven of Nine herself, or at least the Borg as a species, already had assimilated Hirogen before Seven's liberation from the Collective.
The Hirogen have taken over Voyager and conscripted its crew to serve as holodeck prey by controlling their minds using neural interfaces which make them believe they really are their fictional characters. The Hirogen hunt them in holodecks 1 and 2 using different programs.
A Chakotay cameo would, therefore, have distracted from the overall story of Admiral Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) confronting the trauma of his past. Chakotay being at the head of a fascist government also doesn't fit with his character, as he was a member of the Maquis, which fought against Cardassian oppression.
In that future, Seven was killed on a mission in 2381 and Chakotay died in 2394. The series finale left the couple's future open-ended; however, this storyline hasn't been mentioned in any follow-up iteration of Star Trek, including Picard and Prodigy.
Kate Mulgrew prevented Janeway and Chakotay from becoming a couple on Star Trek: Voyager, prioritizing Janeway's likability and reputation. A potential romance between Janeway and Chakotay was also hindered by Starfleet rules, with Janeway focusing on her task of getting Voyager home.

The Voyager crew succeed in stabilizing the wormhole, but the Ferengi manage to steal back their shuttlecraft, which Voyager had confiscated. Their attempts to escape back to Takar end with them being sucked into the wormhole and destabilizing it after being sent to the Alpha Quadrant.
