In the final version of the film, Kristoff eventually overcomes his nerves to ask Anna to marry him, speaking straightforwardly and from the heart. Anna tearfully accepts in a few frames of animation that capture every woman's dream reaction — eyes watering, big smile, makeup still perfect.
The show features an engagement party in Arendelle Castle as Anna and Kristoff are still betrothed but have yet to marry. Anna has been accepted as the new Queen of Arendelle and is celebrated by her subjects.
Kristoff reunites with her to help destroy the dam that will ultimately flood the fjord. After Elsa returns to Northuldra alive, Kristoff this time openly proposes to Anna. She says yes. Kristoff becomes King Consort to Anna once they are back in Arendelle.
Anna then becomes Queen of Arendelle and accepts Kristoff's marriage proposal. Elsa becomes the protector of the Enchanted Forest, and visits Arendelle regularly, with peace restored.
Among the main criticisms of Frozen 2 are that a lot of the introduction feels like it's moving the characterization backward, it doesn't hit the emotional depths of the first, and while the story is ambitious, it doesn't quite work in execution.

Is Frozen 2 about depression?
The film covers deep and heavy topics unknown to Disney princess films. The first Frozen broke the Disney formula by sharing “true love” doesn't need to be romantic. The second film addresses loss, grief, depression, and how to find hope and personal growth through life's uncertainties.
Overall, the soundtrack didn't fit the movie as it didn't match the plot at all. They were all pretty much random, and I think they were trying something different, more mature, but they ended up failing. The graphics portrayed and covered up most of the terrible plot.
