Spinosaurus is known to have eaten fish, and most scientists believe that it hunted both terrestrial and aquatic prey. Evidence suggests that it was semiaquatic; how capable it was of swimming has been strongly contested.
Plot. In Jurassic Park III, a Spinosaurus strands the film's main characters on Isla Sorna by causing their plane to crash. Afterwards, the characters escape, only to bump into a bull Tyrannosaurus rex, who is eating a Parasaurolophus.

Is the JP3 Spinosaurus dead?
From what we saw from CC, Spencer is still alive. And, in fact, he is still alive and growing. He is larger than he was in JP3. So, Spencer is doing well, although recently he did get mind controlled and destroyed by a T-Rex.
At full size, Spinosaurus probably had few, if any, natural predators because it's unlikely that many animals could take down a healthy adult and even less likely that any would want to.
If they wanted to follow movie cannon, the Spino in JP3 is 3 feet longer than Rexy the largest Rex in the films at 40 feet. In real life Spino was 10-15 feet longer, and even in JPOG the Spino was significantly larger.
The reality of the battle, however, is that Spinosaurus and T. rex lived in different parts of the world and during different periods of time, so they likely would never have crossed paths and would have never fought each other.
He is often mistaken for the Bull Tyrannosaurus that appeared in Jurassic Park III, This is not true due to the fact that the Bull T. rex was on the different part of the island, far away from Junior's Parents. Junior also has an identical coloration to his father, different than the Bull from the following film.
Spinosaurus had a relatively large brain size, which means that we know they were intelligent predators. Combine this superior intelligence with their vast size and the fact they would have moved swiftly on two legs and this makes the Spinosaurus a formidable (and terrifying) hunter!
Some scientists have speculated that Spinosaurus had a thick, fleshy hump rather than a thin sail. But the latest research suggests that a thin sail is most likely.
Its huge spine puts the animal at an intimidating 20 feet (6.5 meters), though its head height, a more typical measurement point for a theropod's height, is a shorter 12 feet (3 meters).

In addition Trex was much smarter than Spino for it had a bigger brain. It also had binocular vision which made it have much better sense of vision then spino did. Finally Trex had a bite 6x more powerfull than spinos being able to possibly produce a bite of 70,000 pounds.
The Spinosaurus swims away and isn't seen again. However, a deleted scene gave the creature a much more violent death, in which Grant used the Velociraptor Resonation Chamber he'd found earlier to summon a pack of raptors, who attacked and killed the Spinosaurus.

The sex of this dinosaur has been given as both male and female in various supplementary materials, but in Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous is referred to as a male. Since this is the only time the spinosaur's sex has been implied onscreen, we will follow this convention.
Which version of Rexy is the strongest? All of them have the same amount of strength. Rexy in JW should be the weakest incarnation of her. When they brought back the Tyrannosaurus model for JW production, they used the original maquette that was available and the old ILM CG data.
On land however it's a different story the spinosaurus was sluggish, slow and weak on land. The tyrannosaurus rex had a bite force of 6 tons and the spinosaurus was pretty skinny because it spent most of it's time in water not on land.
In terms of dinosaurs spinosaurus is the king of the water but not much else. Tyrannosaurus is the king on land in terms of carnivores. It really wasn't that much slower than other similar sized theropods, definitely not enough to matter in combat.
Tragically, however, that original Spinosaurus skeleton—and all of Stromer's other dinosaur fossils from Egypt—were destroyed during the Second World War, more specifically in a British Royal Air Force bombing of Munich on April 24, 1944.
