The following year after Lucy Gray Baird's victory, another female tribute emerged as the Hunger Games winner. Mags Flanagan became the first victor from District 4, living off of nuts and her survival skills by creating fishhooks. Immediately after Gloss's death, Cashmere charges at Katniss with a knife, apparently intent on killing her, but Johanna digs her axe into Cashmere's chest, killing her.
