#8, Spider-Man villain Electro learns that Daredevil is blind and tells the world. Since criminals now know how to overwhelm his super senses, Daredevil agrees to an operation that restores his sight – but takes away his superhuman senses.
I was happy with how well the television series was written. As it turns out, a lot of people agree with me. However, one group of people wasn't given the chance to watch and form an opinion. Daredevil did not provide audio descriptions, leaving people with visual disabilities unable to watch the show.
While it may not give you Marvel-level superpowers (remember, Daredevil is fiction), science has shown that the brain can adapt to a change like blindness. One of the ways it adapts is by enhancing the other senses to compensate for the loss.

Can Daredevil technically see?
Blindness is a disability because those who are blind are not able to tell what's around them as easily as people who have sight. Of course Matt can tell what's around him much, much better than anyone else. He can't "see" what's in front of his eyes but he can "see" what's all around him...for blocks and blocks.
Compensating for the loss of his sight, Daredevil has four superhuman senses: tactile (touch); olfactory (smell); auditory (hearing); and gustatory (taste). His fingertips can feel the faint ink impressions on a printed page, allowing him to read by touch.
Had he never been blind, he might have never developed those skills, and if he suddenly gained vision, he might need to close his eyes to not have his fighting style thrown off by extraneous sensory information and need to train to make effective use of eyesight in a fight.
And while Daredevil is outmatched when it comes to the power of Clark's senses, both characters are uniquely guided by the way that they perceive the world. Because they can both hear trouble happening around them, Superman and Daredevil are constantly reminded why their cities are in need of their help.
Daredevil's Billy Club is the personal weapon used by Daredevil. It functions as a multi-purpose cane capable of being used as a grappling hook and an extendable melee weapon.
We then flash back to his childhood, when his father is involved with a crime lord, much to the surprise of little Matt, who is sprayed by hazardous chemicals, causing him to go blind.
He kidnapped Tony, brought him deep underground, and unleashed an EMP to disrupt all of his tech. In reality, Tony Stark tricked him and was able to turn the tables on Daredevil. After being knocked unconscious, Tony activated the Extremis 3.0 inside Daredevil, which gave him his sight back.
The suggestion that Matt's “radar” hinges on his ability to make use of sound is not new, however, and season three shows us clearly how Matt's loss of hearing in one ear makes him just as (real world) blind as he would have been without his heightened senses.
For the minimalist costume, the mask had no openings for the eyes. It makes sense as Matt Murdock was left visually-impaired after a childhood accident.

Both fighters lacked any significant superpowers, and both seemed even with their abilities. Sure, we couldn't help but notice Batman was a little stronger and smarter and Daredevil was a little quicker in both physical and reaction speed.
Logan's superhuman senses allow him the ability to see, hear and smell in a far more heightened manner than the average person, with his hearing only a little less powerful than Marvel's Daredevil and his superhuman senses.
Unlike most other heroes in the MCU, She-Hulk has the distinction of having fought Daredevil already. The two did battle during their first meeting, with She-Hulk easily overpowering the slippery vigilante, who couldn't dodge her attacks for long.
Daredevil is one of Marvel's most skilled hand-to-hand fighters, earning him the respect of heroes such as Captain America, and Matt's encounter with U.S. Agent has even confirmed that he could successfully take down the super soldier if he ever tried.
Daredevil proves to be the better strategist when he first knocks out Peter by ricocheting his billy club, but it could be argued that he couldn't accomplish this without his new powers. However, his second victory over Spider-Man is a result of his strategic mind, something he's possessed long before gaining powers.
In Daredevil #1 (by Bill Everett, Stan Lee and Steve Ditko), we see that Matt Murdock (who, by the way, we should note obviously lost his sight when he was old enough to know what colors were, so he can at least know what red looks like when someone says "red" to him) actually CAN feel different colors!
Stan Lee himself stated that Daredevil's Radar Sense is better than Spider-Man's Spider-Sense. Daredevil can see 150 yards in 360 degrees without concentrating, and even more when he does concentrate.
3 Crime Scene Forensics. Daredevil's heightened senses allow him to examine his surroundings. At a crime scene, he can smell chemicals in the air, the copper of spent bullet casings, or the metal in blood that was spilled.
