One of the most significant – and moving – sequences in Blade Runner 2049 arrives in its third act, when K learns that he is not, in fact, Deckard and Rachael's missing child. K is what he was told he was all along: a replicant, nothing more, nothing less.
In the final moments of the film, K collapses in the snow and dies from his wounds sustained in battle, but not before fulfilling his mission and revealing to Deckard the truth about his own past. The film ends with Deckard reuniting with his long-lost daughter, Ana Stelline, in a poignant and emotional scene.

Good follow up to Blade Runner final cut. Blade Runner 2049 is a really good film. Even though I had never seen the Blade Runner (1982), I still love this movie and you don't really have to watch the original to understand the movie. K is also a good and interesting character along with the others as well.
Children in their mid-teens with a strong interest in the science fiction genre are more likely to enjoy this film. However, it is not appropriate for teens under age 15.
This book has some great romance, no sex, just some passionate kisses. There are very few swear words. The violence is a lot, but I wouldn't describe it as "graphic" or "frightening", especially for older teens.
When K was meeting with Ana and she confirms for him that the memory was real and that it happened, K shows his first bout of strong emotion in the movie by yelling god damn it and storming out.
