In multiple comics over the years, it's been established that Deadpool's healing factor is more powerful than Wolverine's. Deadpool can survive anything. If his head is cut off, he'll regrow his body over a few weeks. He can heal almost instantly from pretty much any wound.
Why doesn't Deadpool make clones of himself every time he bleeds? Because that isn't how healing factors work. Similarly if you were to cut Deadpool in half you wouldn't get two Deadpools*. One side would just be meat and the other side would repair the damage as well as it was able.
