By the time Harry would be psychologically and emotionally ready for a child, Teddy would already be used to living with his grandmother. Taking Teddy away from Andromeda would not be good for him. Teddy already had a loving grandmother to raise him. There was no need for Harry to adopt him.
This was a relief for Lupin. After the war, Teddy was raised by Tonks' mother, Andromeda, but had a close relationship with his godfather, Harry. He was sorted into Hufflepuff and became Head Boy at Hogwarts.
After Remus and Tonks were murdered in the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry helped Teddy's maternal grandmother raise him and by 2017, Harry and Teddy were clearly very close.
Unfortunately both of Teddy's parents died in the battle, leaving him an orphan and was therefore raised by his grandmother. Teddy usually spent much of his time with the Potter and Weasley families, who were also distant relatives of his through his maternal grandmother's side of the family.
The wedding of Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks took place in July of 1997, during the height of the Second Wizarding War. It was kept private as the Ministry of Magic had passed legislation that was not favourable to werewolves. One result of this union came in the form of the couple's only child, Teddy Lupin.

What happens to Tonks' son?
Sadly, Professor R.J Lupin died in the Battle of Hogwarts, along with his spouse Nymphadora Tonks. They left their son Edward Remus “Teddy” Lupin, also an Animagus, to the care of his godfather Harry Potter, and maternal grandmother Andromeda Tonks. He began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 2009.
He feels that he is toxic to others by sheer presence alone. He doesn't regret marrying Tonks because he doesn't love her, he regrets marrying Tonks because he thinks that in doing so he has permanently scarred her, hurt her. His arguments for not being in a relationship with her are not personality based.
Rowling stated in an interview that Lupin and Tonks died to compensate for the last-minute reprieve she gave to Arthur Weasley when he survived a would-have-been fatal attack in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Rowling also stated that it was Antonin Dolohov who killed him.
After a brutal fist, gun, and sword fight that saw Leonard thrown from a window, Assane searched frantically for his son within the house. However, the entire time it was revealed Raoul was being kept in the boot of a car, which Leonard sets on fire.
Rowling revealed more information about Neville when she stated that he married Hannah Abbott, a Hufflepuff classmate, who became the landlady of the Leaky Cauldron. The couple live over the pub, a fact that Rowling thought people would find "particularly cool".
In the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows movie, Snape showed how much he loved Harry, providing him with his memories and showing that he saw Lily in him, his last words echoing this: "You have your mother's eyes."
It wasn't long before it became clear that Victoire ('Our Victoire! Our cousin! ') must be one of Bill and Fleur's children. This was later confirmed by J.K. Rowling, and that Victoire was one of three siblings, the others being Dominique and Louis Weasley.
In the EXCELLENT James Potter book series, by G. Norman Lippert, Tonks had already given birth to a boy before being killed in the Battle of Hogwarts. (The James Potter in the Lippert series is Harry Potter's son).
Lily very much hoped Victoire and Teddy would get married so that he would become a real part of their family. Teddy Lupin did not become a werewolf like his father. He was, however, a metamorphmagus, like his mother.

After deciding to walk ahead on the beach in order to explore the Hollow Needle, a rock formation made famous in a Lupin story, Raoul is kidnapped by Léonard and driven away from the beach and his parents, who eventually realize to their horror that he is missing and begin a fruitless search for him.
Diop's father was framed by his employer, the mogul Hubert Pellegrini, for the theft of a priceless necklace and met an untimely end which essentially orphaned young Assane (his mother is estranged). As an adult, he sought revenge and ended season two having largely succeeded.
Instead, Leonard, kidnapped Assane Diop's 14-year-old son Raoul in a bid to lure the father into a trap and kill him. With the help of Lupin-obsessed detective Youssef Guedira (Soufiane Guerrab), Assane Diop was able to save his son and make it back to Paris alive.
Remus fought at the Battle of Hogwarts on 2 May 1998, during which his wife was murdered by Bellatrix Lestrange. Remus was also murdered by Death Eater Antonin Dolohov, during the first half of the same battle. His death was possibly avenged by Filius Flitwick.
Despite his survival, Arthur came dangerously close to death due to his attack from Nagini. According to Rowling during a Q&A from 2007 (and as reported on by The Leaky Cauldron), Arthur was initially supposed to be killed off in the attack instead of merely being wounded.
As you can read, in Nymphadora, there is also the word Nymph, which in the Wizarding World, are small magical creatures who were also used as Christmas decorations (who even sang) in Beauxbatons. Nymphs were usually flirtatious, allowing Tonks to “hate” her name a bit.
She formed part of the Advance Guard and bravely participated in the Battle of the Seven Potters. Tonks became pregnant by this time and Remus began to worry that he had passed on his werewolf condition to their son, though this proved not to be the case as the child had inherited only Tonks's metamorphic abilities.
His entire demeanor throughout the series suggest that Dumbledore was asexual for the rest of his long life. He died a 115 year old virgin. Lupin- Due to him being a werewolf, it's very likely he didn't lose his virginity until he met Tonks.
