Rodan. Originally, she said that she and Rodan were best friends, but Rodan thought it was not enough, because of his crush. Then she introduced him to her boyfriend, Ghidorah, causing Rodan to snap in anger. After breaking up with Ghidorah, she fell in love as well.
Rodan and Mothra were finally together forever. However, the Monster Island Buddies' victory celebration was cut short as with the death of Grand King Ghidorah, all hell had literally broke loose.
Overall, while there are instances where characters and interpretations have hinted at a romantic connection between Godzilla and Mothra, their relationship is primarily portrayed as an ancient alliance and a symbiotic partnership.
It is revealed that Mothra and Godzilla are in a symbiotic relationship, which is where two species of animals take care of each other and receive a benefit from the relationship.
Mothra dated King Ghidorah, much to Rodan's jealousy. Despite their species are mortal enemies, the two remained together. However, Ghidorah was revealed to be cheating on Mothra by being with Hedorah every Thursday (he covered this up by saying that he was playing poker with his friends).
Godzilla is shown to have a crush on Gojirin, and she seems to return his feelings. Occasionally, Gojirin is a source of conflict among Godzilla and his friends, as both Baragon and Anguirus compete with Godzilla to impress her.

Godzilla and Rodan are playing cards, when Rodan tells Godzilla that he's finally going to ask Mothra out on a date. This moment is ruined, though, when Godzilla reveals that Mothra has been dating King Ghidorah.
Ebirah is one of the weakest monsters Godzilla has ever faced. A giant crustacean, Ebirah lacks many of the traits and capabilities necessary to fight the King of Monsters effectively. Armed with only two differently-sized claws, the mutant arthropod doesn't have a lot of options for close-quarters combat.
Unlike Godzilla or Rodan - who are believed to be the exact same specimens that lived millennia ago - Mothra's life is cyclical. She hatches, enters her cocoon, emerges, lays an egg, dies, and is reborn.
Using the last of her strength, she flies towards Ghidorah, who blasts her with his gravity beams. Mothra burns up and disintegrates, but her ashes fall onto Godzilla as he groans at her passing, transferring her power to him and ultimately enabling him to unlock his Burning Godzilla form.
The Bride is sent to protect Japan, after it is discovered that a group of giant monsters are leaving the Hollow Earth. She defeats the Giant Chameleon, the Giant Archaeopteryx, and Anguirus in turn, and fights Godzilla, who falls in love with her.

He is the son of Keizer Ghidorah, and the grandson of Grand King Ghidorah. As a Ghidorah, he was "destined" to conquer and rule the Earth alongside his family. Instead, King Ghidorah had no interest in taking over Earth, and wound up falling in love with Mothra, who was an enemy of his race, the Divine Moths.
In the MonsterVerse, the reason for the affection between Godzilla and Mothra can be attributed to their warm and symbiotic relationship, as well as their shared history and mutual respect.
