There definitely was a kissing scene (heartfelt, but it dragged on like a few other scenes) and the whole subplot increased the romanticism of this movie, but there wasn't too much of it. Additionally, there is some 'fake swearing' with Robotnik saying “a piece of shiitake” and other language used like “Oh my God”.
"God," "crap," "hell," and an "a-hole" abbreviation respectively. Robotnik and Sonic each make puns involving being on a "piece of shiitake planet," and the phrase "holy sherbet" respectively. A couple uses of mild language is present but not much.
