Tarzan was an incrediby gifted linguist. He learned to converse in many animal languages. His first human language of fluency was French, taught to him by a French officer that he encountered in the jungle. He readily picked up English once given the chance.

The original Tarzan likes his meat freshly hacked and dripping with blood or, even better, tenderized by having been buried for a few days.
