We believe this is the first meeting between all three. But in the “Star Wars” prequel trilogy, we learn R2D2 and Yoda ran in some of the same social circle. And now, a new book has confirmed that Yoda knew who R2D2 was in “Empire Strikes Back.”
A story called “The First Lesson”, written by Jim Zub, explains that Yoda did in fact recognise the droid, but chose to remain silent. “Carefully moving through the swamp while staying beneath the fog, Yoda soon spotted the boy and his droid unpacking their supplies,” reads the passage.
The base assumption of why Obi-Wan doesn't remember R2-D2 -- in light of the prequels -- is that Obi-Wan is feigning ignorance in A New Hope to downplay the importance of the droid's arrival.
secondly, in Legends, R2 was given programming that actually restricted him. from sharing any information with Luke or Leia. about their parents or relation to one another. this was all part of the plan. to conceal this information from the twins.
He was still fairly new to the droid's mannerisms, slowly picking up on small phrases and sentences. After the original Star Wars, Luke understands R2-D2 better than ever, so much so that the Jedi Master has full-on conversations with the droid. Why didn't R2-D2 recognize Yoda?
You saw how Luke's attitude completely changed when he realised that was actually Yoda and so did Yoda's behaviour. As for the r2 thing, is incredibly likely he just suspected R2 had had his memory wiped several times since they last saw each other.

in the Dark Horse comic series star Wars Tales, which is now part of legends, it's revealed that Darth Vader did recognize C. 3PO on Cloud City. when 3PO was shot by Stormtroopers, his parts were brought before Vader. because the Imperials thought he could hold valuable.
Chewbacca - didn't know anything of import re: Anakin or Obi-wan. He fought with Yoda, but didn't know much else about him after helping him flee from Order 66. C3PO - Memory wiped at the end of episode 3.
Darth Vader only learned he had a daughter in Return of the Jedi - but there's no evidence he realized she was Leia before his death and redemption. Darth Vader may have never known Princess Leia was his daughter in Star Wars and never cultivated a relationship with her, even when he was a Force ghost.
Every time she speaks, he remembers Padmé. Fighting alongside Sabé reminds him of fighting alongside his wife. While that is certainly painful enough, it's also reminds Vader of the man he used to be, a past he had long ago attempted to kill and bury. However, the memory of Padmé via Sabé won't let his past stay there.
Unlike C-3PO and the rest of the droids used by the Rebellion in the original trilogy, R2 still remembers the fall of the Jedi and would recognize Grogu, whether or not the droid was directly responsible for saving him from Order 66.
R2-D2 has probably seen more action than all of the sequel characters put together, and has met a long list of Jedi from across time, including master Yoda. R2-D2 has even carried out special missions for the Jedi Council.

In early concepts of Yoda, as well as the novelization of The Empire Strikes Back, he had a blue-skinned face instead of a green one. For The Phantom Menace, he was redesigned to look younger.

In The Phantom Menace, set 32 years before A New Hope, R2-D2 is portrayed as belonging to the Naboo defense forces, one of three astromech droids deployed for repair duty onboard Queen Padmé Amidala's (Natalie Portman) starship as it attempts to get past the Trade Federation blockade.
Towards the end of the war, Anakin turned to the dark side and Padme died so her friend, Bail Organa took the droid as well as R2 when he took her daughter, Leia. C-3PO has his memory wiped unlike R2-D2. He served Captain Antilles on many missions for the secret rebellion.
C-3P0 didn't; his memory was wiped at the end of Revenge of the Sith to prevent him from spilling the beans. Why was Anakin always more attached to R2D2 even though he literally built C-3PO? R2-D2 was almost constantly around Anakin Skywalker during the Clone Wars, serving as his personal astromech.
On a mission to Pasaana, C-3PO discovered safeguards in his programming made it impossible for him to translate Sith runes that could help the Resistance locate the legendary planet Exegol. With the fate of the galaxy hanging in the balance, C-3PO reluctantly agreed to have his memory erased so the runes could be read.
Although Lucas portrayed R2-D2 as a defiant droid who refused to listen to his master's orders, the theory video claims R2-D2 wouldn't stay with the ship because the last time he did that, Anakin never came back.
