After Malfoy insults Hermione's teeth one evening, Harry notices that her teeth look smaller; she confides that when Madame Pomfrey was shrinking the curse teeth in the hospital wing, Hermione allowed her to make them slightly smaller than they originally were.
During the 1993–1994 school year, she was accidentally hit with a Densaugeo hex, which made her teeth grow at an alarming rate. When Madam Pomfrey shrank her teeth back to size, Hermione let the process go on a little longer than required, making them even.
'It was a big thing in the books about [Hermione's] teeth. She sort of had an overbite, so [Emma's] wearing fake teeth in that scene. ' The intention was for her to wear the teeth for the whole movie, but Watson soon ditched the oversized gnashers.
The spell used was Densaugeo. It is a hex which causes the teeth to elongate at a grotesque, alarming rate. The Shrinking Charm can be used to counteract this spell.

What does rictusempra do?
Harry Potter's use on Draco Malfoy in the Duelling Club. The Tickling Charm (Rictusempra), also known as the Rictusempra Charm, is a spell that causes a victim to buckle with laughter. It also has at least two other side effects on the victim. It is usually used as a diversionary tactic in duels.
In the Harry Potter book series, it's clear that Hermione finds her parents and undoes the magic. Additionally, author J.K. Rowling stated in a webchat that, “Yes, she brought them home straight away.” The author also said the charm wasn't a true Obliviate spell.
