Now in Virginia, Andy answers his phone and warns Jake against telling anyone about Chucky as everyone will believe he's going crazy, and asks if the doll has been seen with one or two women.

Chucky focuses on a teen named Jake, who started the show as a depressed loner who bought a possessed Chucky doll. He soon became friends with school bully Lexy and his crush, Devon, a classmate who has a true crime podcast. Now, three seasons in, Devon and Jake are boyfriends.
Six years after the events of Seed of Chucky, Tiffany's soul still possesses actress Jennifer Tilly's body. She does not appear on-screen until it is revealed that she was the one responsible for mailing Chucky out to Nica's home, facilitating his murder spree on the family he blames for his human death.
Jake's mother has passed away in a car accident, and Jake's father, Luke, generally disapproves of his son's interests. Jake has dinner with his father, uncle Logan, aunt Bree, and his cousin, Junior. Jake's father begins drinking heavily at dinner. Junior's parents highlight on his recent accomplishments.
After Chucky murders his family members, Jake is sent to live with a foster family in Salem, New Jersey, where he strikes up a bond with his little foster brother, Gary. This bond mirrors the one shared between Kyle and Andy in Child's Play 2, with Kyle taking Andy under her wing.
However, he does have some pretty glaring weaknesses - on top of the fact that he's probably not a great runner. The longer he inhabits the doll, the more that doll starts to take on human characteristics, meaning that he can be wounded like a regular person.
(Turns out it was all a ruse, and Good Chucky was just as bad as the rest of them all along.) When Devon Sawa's priest character, Father Bryce, attempts to perform an exorcism on Chucky, everything goes horribly awry, and Chucky once again escapes (after Father Bryce explodes approximately 32 times in a row).

12. Binx. One thing that is predictable about horror movies or shows is that a pet is likely one of the first to die. Chucky gets right back to his killing ways in Chucky season 1, episode 1, “Death By Misadventure,” by killing Jake's (Zackary Arthur) beloved cat Binx.
Just then the power goes out, and he goes down into the basement to check the fuse box. He flips the switches until the power comes back on, and sees Chucky standing in front of him. Summaries. While Andy's mother is admitted to a psychiatric hospital, the young boy is placed in foster care, and Chucky, determined to claim Andy's soul, is not far behind.
Jake refuses to tell him the truth about Chucky, and the two are finally let out of the closet. They then hear people chanting Lexy's name, and witness her Halloween costume depicting Lucas' death.
After her husband's funeral, she is kidnapped by Charles, but manages to call the police. Charles angered by her rejection, pulls out a knife and stabs her in the stomach before fleeing the oncoming police. Because she was pregnant with Nica, his actions cause her to be paraplegic.
When Nica asks Chucky what his motive is, he reveals that he was a family friend that was secretly in love with Nica's mother Sarah. He killed her father and kidnapped Sarah.
While neither Karen nor Mike has been seen onscreen since the first Child's Play, Child's Play 2 did reveal that prior to its opening, Karen had been placed in a mental hospital due to her backing up of Andy's story about Chucky being alive. That led to Andy being placed in foster care and meeting Kyle.
At the end of the film, Andy, his mother Karen, and two police detectives, Mike Norris and Jackie Santos, try to fight off Chucky. After he's lit on fire and loses both an arm and a leg, Karen shoots him repeatedly, and he is even beheaded. It isn't until Norris shoots Chucky in the heart that he finally dies.

Through flashbacks, Chucky explains that he was a friend of the family. He was in love with Sarah, but she was married and pregnant with Nica. Chucky killed Sarah's husband and kidnapped her some time after the funeral. After Sarah rejects him, Chucky stabs her in the stomach before fleeing from the police.
