Millennia later, Loki and Sylvie were transported to the Void, where they discovered that Alioth guarded the access to the ruler of the "Sacred Timeline". After battling and enchanting Alioth to pass through him, Loki and Sylvie reached the Citadel.
Later, when Sylvie and Loki manage to enchant Alioth together, the clouds of the storm dissipate and reveal the Citadel in the distance. In the final episode of the season, Sylvie and Loki trek cross the asteroid to get to the Citadel.
Loki Laufeydottir was born in one of the many realities that comprised what the Time Variance Authority called the Sacred Timeline. As the Goddess of Mischief, she was raised on Asgard and was told by her parents early on that she was adopted.
Is the Citadel at the end of time in the quantum realm?
Even without all these obvious connections—both textually and visually—the Quantum Realm is the most logical location for the Citadel. It sits outside of time, and the Quantum Realm seems to exist outside of time.
She is an alternate version of Loki who helps him fight to overthrow the Time Variance Authority (TVA). She hopes to destroy the TVA and He Who Remains for stealing away her life, viewing herself as an agent of the universe itself. She is later forced to ally with a variant of Loki from 2012.

In the comics, Kang is a baddy from the 31st century who has faced off against the Avengers many times (and in many incarnations) since his 1960s debut.
The appearance of Odin was used by Loki to rule the Asgardians for some time after Loki's faked death on Svartalfheim. While ruling Asgard as Odin, Loki cast a spell on his father to make Odin forget himself and exiled him to Earth, leaving him dazed at Shady Acres Care Home: a retirement home in New York City.
Though it still hasn't been explained fully why the discrepancy occurred, it could relate to the points at which the Quantum Realm is entered and exited. Perhaps, Scott Lang went deeper into the Quantum Realm, or maybe he found himself in another dimension where time moves considerably slower.
How did Janet survive in the Quantum Realm without food?
Quantum Energy Manipulation: After spending three decades in the Quantum Realm, van Dyne could use the particles around her to shape herself and remain stable. This allowed her to survive in the realm for decades seemingly without sustenance.
Like others from his native era, Kang ages at a slightly slower rate than modern humanity and is more resistant to the effects of radiation; though, he can be harmed by concentrated doses. He is an expert in time travel and the manipulation of time, and has mastered his future's advanced technology.
Summary. He Who Remains and Kang the Conqueror are different variants of the same person, and Loki Season 2 revealed how they were connected. Victor Timely was another Kang variant, but fans speculated they all may be the same people at different points in their individual timelines.
Kang was a villain that surpassed the rules of time and space and was a conqueror of all worlds thanks to his advanced technology. For Kang, his mission was to visit many points in time and conquer them in hopes of amassing an army built over ages to take over the world.
Is He Who Remains stronger than Kang the Conqueror?
Despite the shocking level of power expressed by Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Loki season 1 implied that He Who Remains was, in fact, stronger than the Conqueror and all his other variants.
Yet, he decides that he will not turn into a villain again and feels guilty for the crimes he committed though he can't remember them, especially for what he had done to Thor and the Dísir, thinking of himself as much a "monster" as the shieldmaidens are.
Mobius appears in Loki, portrayed by Owen Wilson. In the episode "Science/Fiction", Mobius is revealed to be a temporal variant of Don, a jet ski salesman and single father-of-two, who also cameos in the series finale "Glorious Purpose".
In the comics, Throg was a man named Simon Walterson who was human that was transformed into a frog by a witch. Taking up the name Puddlegulp, Walterson would go on to help Thor when Loki turned him into a frog and stranded him in Central Park.
