Upon going to Reed Richards, Peter discovers that the black suit he donned was actually alive and was slowly trying to permanently bond with Peter. Peter then removes the creature using high frequency sonic waves and the symbiote is imprisoned.
The Anti-Venom Suit is one of the primary suits used by Peter Parker in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. This is one of the few free suits in the game that is granted via mission progression. It permanently replaces Peter's Venom symbiote-related powers, including Symbiote Surge ability.
The remnants of the Venom symbiote in Peter's body react to the unique nature of Martin's powers released in the effort, creating the Anti-Venom Suit around Peter.
However, Black Cat would make him a fabric version of his black suit shortly after that. Peter found himself donning black for nearly four years straight until The Amazing Spider-Man #300, when his black outfit was too much for Mary Jane to bear after she was traumatized by the debut of Venom.

Why didn't Venom talk to Spider-Man?
Basically, the symbiote didn't attempted to talk with Peter because it wanted to remain loyal and obedient like a servant. It didn't felt the need to talk to him, only to serve him.
Venom came to empathize with Eddie's status as a "loser", eventually deciding to turn on its own kind and save the Earth from being invaded. The symbiote ultimately agreed to work alongside Eddie as a vigilante, to only hurt bad people despite its own confusion of how it can tell the difference of who is good or bad.
Despite seemingly defeating Venom and the Symbiote for good, Peter canonically still has the Anti-Venom suit by the end of Marvel's Spider-Man 2, with players still being able to use it in free-roam after the credits roll.

Crucially, however, Miles is actually able to beat him thoroughly. Miles takes him down so that he can remove the symbiote suit from Peter's body and restore his friend to his normal state, a truly impressive feat.
When Venom first bonded to Eddie Brock, it gave him specific knowledge gained when the symbiote was with Spider-Man. Eddie suddenly knew Peter Parker was Spider-Man, as well as the names of everyone close to Peter, such as Peter's then-wife, Mary-Jane Watson.
The Anti-Venom symbiote is invulnerable to the traditional weaknesses of symbiotes, fire and sonics. However it particularly vulnerable to a poison Osborn made using the Freak, and its abilities can be negated by Mr. Negative's Darkforce powers.
Brock later bonds with the Venom symbiote to seek revenge against Spider-Man under the belief that the webslinger ruined his journalism career, only to be defeated and separated.
Venom's symbiote has explained on many occasions that the Klyntar planet is practically devoid of emotions, yet over time he knows that he forms genuine love for Eddie. Venom bonds more with Eddie and experiences guilt, jealousy, and sadness over his other half.
By eating Carnage, Venom is effectively returning his spawn back to his former "unborn" state within Venom's mass, not taking anything he didn't already have into his cells.
Peter later attacked Ben who was trying to stop the Kingpin from using the portal technology, and the two fought. However, the Carnage symbiote entered that reality through the opened portal and bonded to Peter, creating the creature known as Spider-Carnage.
While Marvel's main Peter Parker has never bonded with the symbiote, other Spider-Men have still become the ruthless Spider-Carnage. For Spider-Man fans of the '90s, Carnage was the greatest single force of evil and horror.
In a flashback, it is revealed that she got pregnant with Eddie's child after bonding to Venom. After giving birth to their son Dylan, she left him in the care of Carl Brock, with the promise that she would return eventually. She instead committed suicide, after which Carl raised Dylan.
Like in Spider man 3 after Peter ripped the Symbiote off of Brock, it gravitated towards Peter over Brock. Another is in Spectacular Spider man cartoon where the Symbiote easily rejected Brock in favor of Spiderman when he wanted it back.
Marvel's comics explain that Venom has a biological need for the two substances. In the comics, brains and chocolate are prime sources for phenethylamine, a compound that positively affects mood and that Venom needs to live.

Sleeper is another member of the Venom line of symbiotes; the most recent offspring of the Venom symbiote, he is considered siblings with Carnage and the Life Foundation symbiotes (Lasher, Phage, Scream, Agony & Riot).
