Many of the Na'vi learned to speak English from Grace Augustine's school. Among these former students are: Neytiri, Mo'at, Tan Jala and Tsu'tey. The RDA employs several xenolinguists on Pandora. When humanity first arrived on the moon, it was necessary to establish diplomatic relations with the Na'vi.
The Na'vi agreed to the building of the schoolhouse where Grace taught English and human customs to the children. She taught both Neytiri and her older sister Sylwanin. Grace was viewed in a maternal manner to the children, who called her "sa'nok", meaning "mother" in the Na'vi language.

Paz Socorro is Spider's mom after a romantic relationship with Quaritch led to her getting pregnant. She gave birth to Spider, whose birth name is Miles (just like his father), in 2154. However, Paz Socorro died shortly after that in combat during Avatar's finale.

The seizure is believed to have been caused by frontal lobe epilepsy which could also cause the other symptoms Kiri has been having, including visions and the belief that she's hearing Eywa. However, the Metkayina clan believe it's down to something more spiritual and is a result of Kiri's connection to Eywa.
The Soul Tree is the heart of Eywa, the goddess that guides all of Pandora. Avatar: The Way of Water illustrates that Kiri has a special connection to Eywa, which means she can wield powers and feel her more deeply than other Na'vi.
