By the year 2170, humanity has reached a population of over 20 billion and faces extinction due to overpopulation and dwindling resources on Earth, resulting in not only resource wars on Earth, but also on Pandora with the Na'vi.
This has also been taken into account by the creators of the movies. It seems that the Na'vi do in fact have special organs called 'Wichow' that take advantage of the high CO2 content to extract greater quantities of oxygen from the atmosphere.
Lifespan. Although lifespan data is incomplete, it is estimated Na'vi live 30% longer than the average human. Once born, Na'vi children mature more rapidly than humans.

But Kiri is the key to the Avatar saga. Cameron deliberately surrounds this character with Messianic imagery, complete with a miraculous conception; her mystical experience (or, as human science would put it, her epileptic seizure) is analogous to a baptism.

Why can't humans breathe on Pandora?
Pandora's atmosphere is a mix of nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, xenon, methane, ammonia and hydrogen sulfide, the latter three of which are unbreathable for humans, who wear Exo-Packs when outside their buildings or vehicles.
In Cameron's script she's introduced with the descriptor "in human age she would be 18," but that raises as many questions as it answers. As with the math that leads to Jake being 28, Neytiri's birth in the Earth calendar year 2136 and the film's setting in 2154 add up to make her 18, but that's by Earth standards.
For one, even if Neytiri is 18 in human years, she's the Na'vi equivalent of a human in their early-to-mid-twenties. This is proven in three different ways: James Cameron has stated that Jake's avatar body is around 17 human years old.
Neteyam te Suli Tsyeyk'itan, or Neteyam, is a major character in the Avatar franchise, serving as one of the main characters in Avatar: The Way of Water. He is the 15-year-old eldest son of Jake Sully and Neytiri, who is also the older brother of Lo'ak, Tuktirey, and Kiri.

As of the end of the original movie, Jake has permanently left his human body behind, via a ritual that transplanted his consciousness fully into his Avatar body, so if he is killed, he's gone for good.
According to the back story with Wan, we know that an Avatar is a person that Raava's spirit is in his or her body. And when an Avatar dies (while not in the avatar state), Raava's spirit emerges and finds a new baby, from the next element, to semi-posses.
Lo'ak is old enough in Pandora to be a warrior and seems to be about 13 or 14 years old in Avatar: The Way of the Water given the time gap between Avatar and its sequel. It also appears that Neteyam and Lo'ak are close in age, so being a young 14-year-old would make sense.
Lo'ak and Kiri are 14 years old in Avatar: The Way of Water, while Tuk is only eight. So, it sounds as if the fourth movie will open with Lo'ak, Tuk, and Kiri at the same ages they are in the third installment, and then they will age six years following the time jump.

Her father is not a father, her father is another mother, Eywa, the Great Mother, the sentient life force of Pandora itself that exists in all things there, but is rarely understood. So essentially yes, Kiri was born from Eywa just like Anakin Skywalker was allegedly conceived by the Force itself and its midichlorians.
Kiri is a young Na-vi around fourteen years of age. Since she was conceived through an avatar body (a genetically engineered human/Na'vi-hybrid body, designed to serve as a remotely controlled vessel for a human mind) she was born with human-like traits, such as eyebrows and five fingers instead of four.

A fifth and final film has been announced and is scheduled for December 19, 2031. Jon Landau has stated that part of Avatar 5 will take place on Earth, with Neytiri visiting the planet. Cameron stated that Avatar: The Quest for Eywa is being considered as a possible title for the film.
