The program is typically between five and seven months in length, or roughly the minimum length of a college semester. However, there are options for extending your program to a second semester. Moreover, you are eligible to apply for participation in the Disney program multiple times.

Can I reapply to the Disney College Program?
If you are not accepted the first time you apply to Disney, you can apply again. A student in good standing may apply immediately when the next recruiting season begins.
How many times can you be in the Disney College Program?
As long as you meet COD's requirements and the Disney College Program requirements, you may apply for another Disney College Program experience. Academic credit is not be considered for more than one experience.

A summer-only season is periodically offered for Disney College Program Alumni (previous participants who have successfully completed a program). Any CMU student (or Guest student from another institutions) who is at least 18 years old and will have completed one semester before they attend the program can apply online to Disney. Students can range from Freshman- Senior year and be from any major.
What happens after you finish the Disney College Program?
After leaving the program, participants are invited to join the Alumni Association and receive special information and items. If your child has not received this invitation, they may sign up here. They are also invited to apply for Alumni-Only Disney Professional Internships and other roles within the organization.
Where will participants live while on the program? At Walt Disney World, CPs live in a brand-new complex at Flamingo Crossings in the Horizon West/Winter Garden area just to the west of the theme parks. This beautiful complex is located adjacent to a shopping, dining, and hotel complex that is continually growing.
Once housekeepers “earn their ears” and complete their training period, they are officially welcomed into their new role with a Housekeeping Graduation Ceremony! Unique to Disney, these ceremonies commemorate cast members' end-of-training milestone with a big celebration.
