Constanzia “Connie” Corleone She has something of a troubled love life, which, it turns out, is crucial to the plot. Her first husband, Carlo Rizzi, is an abusive one. Nonetheless, they still go on to have two children together – Victor and Michael-Francis.
Victor Rizzi was the son of Connie Corleone and Carlo Rizzi. He was at Anthony Corleone's first communion and seen with his brother Michael Rizzi coming in the door at Carmela Corleone's funeral. Victor was arrested in Reno for theft some time shortly before Anthony's first communion.

At the Long Beach Causeway toll plaza, Barzini's men trap Sonny and shoot him to death. During a meeting with the other crime family dons to establish peace, Vito realizes that Barzini masterminded Sonny's murder. After Michael returns from Sicily, he assumes Sonny's place as Vito's heir apparent.
It was pretty much an open secret in the Corleone family that Carlo had set up Sonny. Even Connie had picked up on it when she screams at Michael “ you blamed Carlo for Sonny, you all did” after Carlo is killed.
Connie was enraged upon learning what Michael had done (though she likely didn't know of Carlo's involvement in Sonny's death), and resented him for some years afterward.
Michael arranges to have Roth killed at the airport where he is about to be taken into U.S. federal custody. Minutes after disembarking the plane, he is fatally shot by Michael's caporegime Rocco Lampone, posing as a reporter. Rocco himself is killed by federal agents as he tries to escape.
He found his brother tried to have him and his family killed. How could you ever trust him? Even if you cut ties with Fredo, Michael would always have to fear the possibility of Fredo going to the cops or planning another hit. He thought he and Fredo were good and Fredo betrayed him over jealousy.
Michael Corleone figures out that Hyman Roth is plotting against him when Roth accidentally exposes his true motives, and Roth got his new name from Vito Corleone after admiring Arnold Rothstein.
Michael and Kay tour Sicily together, during which Michael asks for Kay's forgiveness. Kay admits she will always love him, and they begin to rekindle their relationship.
Michael, under the belief that she miscarried, tries to convince her to stay, promising that he would change, but Kay is unwilling to listen and finally reveals the truth to him – her "miscarriage" was really an abortion. Enraged, he hits her across the face; the two are soon after divorced.
Michael could not get Apollonia out of his mind once he saw/met her, and he pursued her non-stop from the first chance meeting until they married. It truly was “love at first sight”.
Following the death of their mother, Connie forgave Michael, stating that he was only being strong for the family as their father had been. She then begged Michael to forgive Fredo for betraying him, and Michael appeared to do so; however, it was merely a ploy to draw Fredo in so Michael could have him killed.
A rat is another word for snitch or informant. These four rats betrayed the Corleone family: Salvatore “Sal” Tessio, Paulie Gatto, Fabrizio and Carlo Rizzi.
In the justly famous baptism scene near the film's end, the role of young Michael Francis Rizzi (son of Connie Corleone) was played by an infant Sofia Coppola, who was born in May 1971. Other than the people playing main characters, Sofia is the only actor to have appeared in all three films.
