Seeing as El Camino picked up moments after Breaking Bad's final episode, Jesse was still 25. In fact, the character's actions to acquire a new identity occurred while he was on the brink of turning 26 years old.
Anna Gunn didn't return as Skyler for either El Camino or Better Call Saul, but in a phone conversation between Saul and his secretary, Francesca, in Better Call Saul Francesca mentions that Skyler received a plea deal from the government.
Jesse's self-sacrificing nature grants him an escape from the drug world. It's an ambiguous ending, given further context by the 2019 epilogue “El Camino.” Released on Netflix and taking place immediately after “Felina,” the film follows Jesse evading capture and finally finding peace in his relationships and himself.

Why is it called Felina?
The episode title, "Felina", is a respelling of the word "finale." It is also inspired by the character Feleena from the song "El Paso" by Marty Robbins, which is featured throughout the episode. The story of "El Paso" closely mirrors Walter White's character arc in the final season of Breaking Bad.
In Breaking Bad season 4, episode 11, Jesse's age is mentioned in passing. Gus Fring's doctor reveals Jesse's weight, height, blood type, allergies, and age: 25 years old. There is no reference in the series to Jesse's birthday, nor any of the other characters besides Walt and Walt Jr.
Nielsen's SVOD Content Ratings service found the film drew an average minute audience of 6.5 million, with 2.6 million of that coming on its October 11 opening day.
What's more, Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan was keen for El Camino to not "mess anything up" for Better Call Saul, given that the prequel series features scenes that take place (we assume) after Breaking Bad has wrapped as a story.
When thinking of which Breaking Bad characters to use for El Camino, Gilligan considered bringing back Skyler White, Walter Jr., Hank and Marie Schrader, Gus Fring, and Saul Goodman but could not find a way to incorporate them into Jesse's story.
Throughout Breaking Bad, Jesse finds himself constantly suffering as a result of his involvement in Walter's business. He's beaten, nearly killed multiple times, imprisoned, and suffers severe anxiety and depression as a result of his experiences.

While El Camino doesn't hurt Breaking Bad's legacy, it doesn't enhance it either. It does, however, fulfill its purpose as fan service -- as you get to see some familiar faces, some tense drama and some gorgeous visuals once again.
