Spider was shown to have grown a strong bond with Kiri, with many speculating that there could be a potential future romance between the pair, while his tumultuous relationship with Neytiri came to a dramatic head in the final moments of The Way of Water's climactic battle.

In the Avatar comics, it's revealed that Spider was born to Quaritch and an RDA pilot named Paz Sorroco while living on an RDA base. While Paz never formally appears in Avatar, she's part of the ending battle in which the Na'vi defeat the humans.
